I will be giving you a Yale dorm tour of my freshman college suite here at Yale University! All Yale Undergrads are randomly split into 14 different residential colleges; luckily, I was placed into the best one: Pierson!
Unfortunately, however, Pierson College Freshman live on Old Campus in L Dub before moving into the actual college (L-Dub is notoriously known for small rooms).

Crazy how all these years I grew up in the city outside on New Haven, and growing up i thought seeing Yale and walking the streets near it was no big deal. I never realized how popular the school really was until I got to highschool.

These dorm rooms are so much bigger than Michigan State University, you guys actually have a a living room area, MSU is a a room big enough for 2 beds and 2 desks the. There are community bathrooms on each floor which is typically separated by gender (so one floor male the next female) feel lucky your large dorm room, good roommates, and great floor mates🙂
I'm most definitely grateful and blessed but every single university has its own pros and cons!!
What bout fashion in Yale? U guys have so may different clothes with Yale on it ... I know it sounds stupid but it'll be awesome ...

Thank you! And this is an amazing video idea! But for now, everyone has drastically different styles of fashion, but there are a lot of people who like to throw on Yale hoodies, wear Yale hats, and athletes always wear Yale gear.

The common room is a nice size for 3 maybe 4 people not for 6.
The bedrooms are teeny tiny. It's so small you can't even put in a loft.... which most non-ivy league dorms allow, to make a small rooms roomier.
I hope your roommates don't snore.
L-Dub is objectively the worst housing at Yale by a country mile. No other block uses bunk beds, and very few buildings require you to move desks out into the common room. I think some TD freshman housing does, but that's about it.

Is every residential college like this? I mean, with two students in one bedroom? Or you got to choose whether to stay with other. I feel like I saw someone’s bedroom has only one bed. I’m not sure if that’s a exception.

So do all your grades count on their own or are they computed together to one grade😅

I hope I go to Yale in 3 years😔 this is my dream college. I also used to live in New Haven for 5 years so I’m really used to the area and I really like it but now I moved and I’m a sophomore in high school next year. I just wanna know if like you’re required to stay on campus in Yale because my parents want to stay with me during college because they’re really protective and so would it be okay to live off campus but close to Yale? I noticed that too. I go to a university that cost 4,000 a semester.. And i have my own room with a Queen bed, my own bathroom, and my dorm room is much larger... Yale is HUGE and costs so much... Why do they not give people their own rooms?
Yeah, I definitely get what y'all are saying... It does get better though! And the rooms sizes are extremely diverse. :)

Parth Thakur It depends! For the most part, no, but the new colleges do have AC to an extent. It's not a problem at all, however.
