Kurt Rosenwinkel gilt als einer der innovativsten und profiliertesten Gitarristen seiner Generation und ist seit den 90er Jahren einer der bedeutendsten Wegbereiter des Modern Jazz. Sein gesanglicher Ton ist zu einem Prüfstein für jeden jungen Gitarristen geworden. Nach 11 Albenproduktionen und über 150 Aufnahmen als Sideman blickt er auf eine über fünfundzwanzigjährige Karriere zurück und arbeitete mit Größen wie Brad Mehldau, Brian Blade, Mark Turner, Joshua Redman und Chris Potter zusammen, sowie mit geschätzten Jazz-Ältesten wie Joe Henderson, Paul Motian und Gary Burton. 2016 gründete Kurt das unabhängige Musiklabel Heartcore Records mit der gezielten Absicht, eine neue Generation von Musikern unter Vertrag zu nehmen und zu fördern, deren hohe Ansprüche seinen eigenen entsprechen. Dies hat es ihm zudem ermöglicht, sich in einer weiteren Dimension des Musikmachens zu entfalten, nämlich der des Plattenproduzenten. Er produzierte sein elftes Album "Caipi" 2017 selbst und war im Jahr 2019 als Produzent und Gitarrist an der Veröffentlichung "Vox" des brasilianischen Multi-Instrumentalisten Pedro Martin beteiligt.

I think he learned about socks from Dave Easley. One time Dave and I were in the studio in New York Just about the time Seamus came in Dave opens up a suitcase It had his clothes and effects in it. No matching socks. Dave did the cd with unmatching socks, this reminded me of that. Dave and Kurt played with the Brian Blade Fellowship wayback. Just trivia????

I Think he press the pedal down to hold the tone(more delay/sustain, so he manage the effects with the pedal).

I'm "liking" your comment while disagreeing with you because it's quite annoying to see any video here with the top comment being all cheesy and lacking any kind of insight.You at least have a clear criticism that *could* be addressed. Personally I think the delay sounds fine but I wouldn't consider myself to know shit about dialing in good delay settings.
