Man, I hate to be that guy. But mainstage Hardcore is just not that fun to me anymore.... Around 2017 or whatever Uptempo was fun. Kinda cheap fun, but fun still. Now feels like it's just a contest of who can make the most ear piercing kick. And if you enjoy that that's cool. It just sucks that it seems like everything is just this. Luckily there's always alternatives. Mad Dogs been killing it these past few years.
Ur just not mainstream anymore, dont comment about it. Let the mainstreamers have their fun like u had yours
Mad dogs set is barely hardcore in my opinion.. is more like some sort of hard techno.. But i do agree with the piepkicks trend. sometimes i enjoy them, sometimes i dont. Mostly Terror or speedcore for me.

It's Masters of HARDCORE. So when the Mainstage is packed with almost only Uptempo (mainly that awful peepkicks), I really get the frustration of people who still wants to listen to the original style. Even when the mainstyle changes, and of course it does every few years. Early to Millenium as example. But in my opinion the shift of the styles was never bigger. Listen to the mainstream hardcore of 2019 vs. now. I just don't get why they not give uptempo more stand alone events or a bigger stage at MoH. But I truly dislike the fact that there are so many uptempo-peepkick mainstages nowadays at events which presents hardcore mainly.
Volgensmij kijk jij alleen naar de herhaling en ben jij niet op deze editie geweest live want deze comment is echt waardeloos... Kan er niet tegen deze vieze jankballen over het feit dat het letterlijk buiten de uptempo stage maar een PAAR uptempo artiesten op main staan en dat bevat ook redenen waar jij misschien niet aan denkt. Bedenk waarom b.v Angerfist ook nu bij Defqon.1 op de mainstage staat? De naam Angerfist is GROOT in deze muziekindustrie en dat kan je vanzelf niet veroorloven meer op kleinere stages en als je daadwerkelijk bij Barber & N-Vitral VS Major conspiracy stond was het compleet vol en kon je nergens zowat lopen dus Masters Of Hardcore heeft de juiste besluiten gedaan punt....

I love how y'all are literally arguing about different types of bass drops, when realistically speaking all forms of EDM is just screeches, noises and heavy bass. AND I LIVE FOR IT 🙃

Can uptempo get repetitive? Yes. It can. But you can also argue that other styles can get repetitive also. Look at frenchcore, or even american dubstep.... so not to start an argument but at the same time....thats my goal 🙃

Seems these days its all about facing and dancing for the camera like a monkey rather than dj'ing properly infront of the crowd. This set seems to be taking it to the next level, Pretty embarrassing.

I get what your saying but Hardcore djs are taking it way to far compared to all other genres. It's at the point now the DJ set is second and the dancing the the camera man behind them is first.
i kinda get the point, though I've read from someone else from a Mutilator v Anderex set (i cant remember off hand which though it was prob a Neon Future set) say the opposite where it was just Mutilator vibing out trying to hype up Anderex and he was just intensely hyper-fixated on the crowd barely interacting with Mutilator and it looked strange, i wouldn't blame Major Conspiracy for wanting to vibe out to both their music and N-Vitral's in whichever way they want.
Some artists just interact with the stage differently, but since i saw the timestamp you posted and rewatched it i noticed the subtlety of what N-Vitral did and it kinda feels contentious? Unless there's some kinda unspoken rule among DJs of not doing what they did there? He's also looking back to the rear cam as well so it isn't any different from what the other guys did, what's the point of having a back and ass cam if not to show the artist upclose where you cant see it live? (and also not a fixed cam on the DJ booth in front of them)
MoH is evolving with music into using more peepkicks, and i might be the only person enjoying it xd

Uptempo is not real hardcore, is only noise, the real hardcore is mainstyle , industrial and millenium, with distorted but linear kick, unless louder, noises and high-pitched and jarring kicks
