Is this song about me?? For ever single one of my lost friends who traveled thru tunnels with no light at the end, I am thankful. For the kids that I’m raising that helped raise me for the man that I was and the man I’ll be. For the fact that I was abused as a child and still have the strength to wear a smile. I am greatful. For the angry young man that I used to be and the one that I’ve become. One daughter two sons( same life) love this band

Gotta love making memories like those!!! :) My family and I made a memory of a long road trip listening to a Wayne Dyer CD- the one where he tells the story of the butterfly. (CZcams Wayne Dyer's butterfly story.) We all got so into it, including our 11 year old son, that we drove an hour out of our way on the freeway before we realize it! LOL!!! Good times!!! :D
Man, I just heard this song for the first time today and it really touched me deep!! Amazing song! I’m not a sensitive guy most of the time but it came on driving home from work and it brought me to tears. Hit me like a sack of bricks lol. I guess I just relate to this so much. I was a wreck in my younger years, in trouble with the law, addiction, dealt with abused as a child and have ptsd from it. Ive been clean and sober for ten years now and have three beautiful kids I’m raising in a sober healthy household being the dad I wish I had and i am grateful! Life is so good
