Hi, I have a Sprinter converted camper van which has windows in the back doors and side sliding door. Would the alarm be triggered by someone trying to break in through the windows? So just a few min. ago -- there was an attempted break in on my van ! Now I know why I have been feeling PRESSED to increase security ! I do have an after market alarm. It went off. I just went out to check and my driver side door was partially open (like I didn't close it all the way properly. The alarm did its job. But if they had broken the window and then reached in and unlocked the door - I doubt my alarm would have gone off. This is why I want something that will protect both sides AND the back of my van BUT ESPECIALLY around the front door window area on both sides (2011 Ford Econoline van). And also -- I need Cat. converter protection. I think my alarm only covers the doors if they are opened. I just feel like it's a matter of time before they come back now that they probably know what kind of alarm I have. Next time -- they might just try breaking the window. Or -- they could take a screw driver to the front grill, open my van hood and then they can disarm my alarm. I hear that's another way they are getting in. So - I'm really doing my research. Maybe I need a protective cover for my hood latch? Does anyone ever put your alarm on the front of their vehicle? This attempted break in happened at about 10:50 am in the morning.

Dumb a#s ! Making comments about a product you have never seen .... I have locks I have a safe I have a pedal lock No one's getting tools of me....... This stops them damaging my van , haven't now been touched in years.

I just feel like it's a matter of time before they come back now that they probably know what kind of alarm I have. Next time -- they might just try breaking the window. Or -- they could take a screw driver to the front grill, open my van hood and then they can disarm my alarm. I hear that's another way they are getting in. So - I'm really doing my research. Maybe I need a protective cover for my hood latch? Does anyone ever put your alarm on the front of their vehicle?
This attempted break in happened at about 10:50 am in the morning.
Just curious, whereabouts are you? I'm in Ottawa and parked up in my Sprinter this last weekend and someone tried to break in with me inside. He's lucky he took off before he felt my bear spray.
@@tylern00 I'm in Alberta. I tried to buy the VanGuardian Alarms but they are only sold in the U.K. Happy to hear that the guy took off ! As times get tougher - we are going to need the extra security.
How about under on the frame, harder to get and scare off catalytic converter thieves 😳
Interestingly a van with a Vanguardian Alarm set up on the rear door area and side door area Would actually activate with the action of trying to cut and remove a cat converter !
We are going to produce videos to demonstrate this 🤔 but in isolation we are producing a catalytic converter Alarm system
As always we test test and then test again
So when we launch we will have a great product 👍

VanGuardian only activates on contact so
if someone accidentally bumps in to or knocks your van
I’m sure you would want them to know your van is Alarmed so VanGuardian will emit a
2 second Alarm blast as a WARNING ⚠️ to back off your van is Alarmed & PROTECTED
VanGuardian is not activated by motion so people walking around or in close proximity wil not activate your VanGuardian so No False Alarms ! By innocent pedestrians walking around or passing your van…. This will Not activate the VanGuardian 👊

@@vanguardianalarms3503 That's cool to know because I volunteer with prolife so I have had magnet signs on my van that I can take on and off. People take them off. And when they steal them -- they are expensive so I haven't been using them. Ahhh. This alarm would be great then !

Hi John thank you for your observation but i assume from your comment YOU DONT ACTUALLY HAVE A VANGUARDIAN ALARM but are just forming an un-informed opinion because once you one you would realise VANGUARDIAN comes with a PATENT APPLIED cover plate which locks in place and is only removed with a specially designed tool so there are no speakers visible ??? and VanGuardian comes with anti tamper technology so anyone touching it or attempting to tamper with it will activate the alarm immediately !!! drawing attention to their activity !!! which is what VanGuardian is designed to do !! draw attention to criminal activity around a van BEFORE any tape can be applied or damage can be done... This stops them damaging my van , haven't now been touched in years.
Got vanguardian alarms as my van was done over back in February and frankly I am well happy with them still got to get use to them coz when i go to unlock my van the alams go off with the central locking
How is it powered ?
Battery operated
Batteries last up to 6 months in standby
And typically on a trade van 3-5 months in everyday use
Batteries are AAA so very cheap and easy to maintain 👍
