Reina del Cid is a folk singer songwriter and leader of the eponymous folk rock band based in Los Angeles and Minnesota. Lauren O'Connell is brand new to me at this moment. What a wonderful folk-country voice. I love it so much. The songwriting is astonishing, truly. I wish her a long and successful music career. Now begins my quest to consume all the music she has made available online.

My impression IS that they are ALL Friends first, and what do real friends do? They unconditionally HELP. I realize in this America, we seem to find less and less of this, and that's the real shame. BUT, I take heart when I see 3 friends working, playing, performing and helping each other. This is the America we SHOULD BE! The America which WOULD BE GREAT
@@greg4673 Voluntarily helping others, whether friends or not is, indeed wonderful. One of the problems with America today is that too often people are FORCED to help others via the government. This is one of the main causes of the divisions in our society today. But Reina is the real deal. :)

oh man, I love Lauren's music too. Funny how it all links together. If I recall correctly, Lauren's videos are what eventually led me to Reina del Cid. Got to see her and Natalie Dawn a few years back on a Toyota tour. A while back contacted her for some music and she introduced me to the Mountain Goats. hah.

Such a beautiful sound. Makes me want to wax lyrical. Which could get ugly, because I'm not that talented in that skill. But I must make a small comment. This is clearly Lauren's beautiful song. Reina and Toni providing the accompaniment. Showing again how talented and modest these two are.
Toni plays the electric guitar sweetly and Reina adds smooth bass when appropriate. Awesome.
