Its called a “push out”. You have this option after the break if you make a ball, but dont have a shot on the lowest numbered ball. Opponent has the option of taking shot or giving it back to you

What is with all these so called pro’s thinking jumping the ball is the answer instead of kicking at the ball? It nearly always leads to ball in hand or setting up he opponent for an easy run out.
Because kicking also results in a foul often. Jumping is better in some cases, kicking in others. I have a friend who refuses to learn jumping and you can imagine who wins more between both of us. It's not always the answer, but sometimes it's much better than kicking. Most a time you get the pot, whereas with a kick you just avoid the foul and let your opponent return to the table.
Less friction, it help to mantain a good "friction level" for your shots, even as a casual player, after playing like 2 or 3 hours your hand feel tired and sometimes even hurts, a glove with the thumb, index and middle finger helps a lot, if you dont have a glove, putting talcum powder in your hand also helps a lot!!!! PD: I use a glove that came with a yo-yo that i ordered by amazon once XD, it has the exact same figers than a pool glove

It depends on the player. For me personally it helps because my hands get very sweaty and it interferes with my cue movement since it catches on to my skin. But for example Karl Boyes doesn't use a glove. In snooker there was only one player I know of but I forgot his name who used a glove. It's not traditional but here in pool you'll find almost everyone uses one. Some cues are made in such a way that they cannot slide on a bare hand and it requires a glove.
First time watching a foreign nine-ball game. I was so shocked. I don't understand. This six ball with a low shot can not? The seventh ball and then pull back low, or just call the eight ball bottom pocket. It is impossible to hit the ah. Why do you have to think so long and then still so garbage?
A lot can go wrong on the table, not to mention from this angle we can't tell the angles precisely. I have to ask though, are you reffering to a specific rack in this match or just in general?
