It's not a law to overcharge at restaurants yet.
Legally they did not overcharge nor rip the boys off. All the prices have been published on the menu, itâs the customers that are plain stupid to order anything.

This restaurant one plate of fried rice is $26 , my house downstairs only $4.50.
My house 1 only $3.70
my.house....only 1.5 LOL...REALLY....those rice and.dishes stall...sometimes they cook those special stand alone dish...like fried rice...potatoes and veg...keuy teow......long noodles...all 1.5 for one packet

there's a buffet in the east side thats $17 per person if you use eatigo
@@Nicole-db2ub Eatigo brought bad memories for me. First referred to it I think on Feb 2019 for a special promotional deal. But later referral, me and my referred all didn't get the deal as we weren't sure how to use the app and were still waiting for Eatigo to credit the dining voucher to us. Then Eatigo didnt compensate us. So I stop using it since then

What.......Lobster is 288/kg? That's so expensive as it weighs a lot and plus, that hotel 5-star restaurant only sell it for like 80 dollar plus. Fried rice is $26, I don't think is the food that gave it 1-star, is the price.

So THIS is why people say Singapore is expensive! I thought eating out was so cheap when I visited Singapore last spring, most of my meals were around $S5 or a little more and super delicious!

Yeah, I had a bad experience with such a restaurant by the river in Clarke Quay, way back in 2008. I'd rather eat at Burger King or even Hooters just a block away.
Royce sense of humour though. xD Prep meal taste for the broccoli really describes the taste well.

Many years ago at Clark Quay a group of Korean girls suddenly asked me about where to eat chilli crab and also want to see MBS laser show. I got them to follow me, walked past Boat Quay, all the way to merlion park and introduce them to Jumbo seafood restaurant. I warned them about not to eat at Boat Quay. They were appreciative and also managed to see the laser show over at MBS. One of them gave me a mini kit kat to thank me. They did ask me to join in but I didn't want to intrude.

I think it's the rental and the space...sg is a small place and this is quite a large restaurant, with a nice view, it's location and all.

If you want to do like these type of 1 star restaurant, your intern should bring you guys there and then you'll eat and rate according. This will prevent anyone from being "bias".
