    Wish someone had pics of the Rosebud Hotel at the bottom of New Hall Lane back in the day. My father Louis ran it back in the 70's - 80's. I worked behind the bar from 15 years old serving pints hahaha. No way would that be allowed now. We were all like one big family, us and the regulars. One of the best times of my life. Happy memories 😊

    My Grandparents Eddie and May Rhodes ran the Horse and Farrier Pub in Preston town, does anyone remember them? Amazing memories of them, we used to do the bottling up and earned a penny or two..😄would love to hear from anyone😀😀, also our Aunt Jenny Houghton who ran a material stall in the market..👍😀😀 the odd shoe stall in the outdoor market? Lol, we thought it was all so exciting

    These is a short mail from Mr.F.Waditzer, Austria
    I cannot find a picture of the "Hornby Castle", Brook Street, closed in the 90ths. The Landlord, Mr. Brian Taylor, was my english friend, my lad.
    His "Hornby Castle" was an excellent pub.

      I used to always go in the Windsor Castle on a Saturday before going to Deepdale in the early / mid 1980’s

      1dodgydave I think it might be St Augustine’s church being demolished.Part of Cardinal Newman College now,where the front of the church remains. On St Austin’s Place(off Manchester Road.
