- This video introduces the Mega Bot a Rugged, 4-Wheel-Drive Robotic Platform and demonstrates some of its capabilities including the ability to traverse mud, snow and debris. It is shown breeching a wall and pulling a 4700 lb Hummer. The Mega Bot is a modular reconfigurable rugged platform for a variety of applications. it is simple and tough design !
i like it very much!
Just awesome.
The Mega Bot typically uses 12 Volt Lead Acid Motorcycle Batteries. Although, in theory, you could use any type of battery. The heavy Lead Acid was chosen because, we wanted to build momentum for bashing through walls and increasing traction when towing vehicles.
it makes a perfect battlebot
Interesant și distractiv , bineînțeles și folositor , mă gândesc să fac unul cu șenile pe baza unui hoverboard mai ușor , mulțumesc frumos 👍👍💪💪
Now that's what I'm talking about!
Awesome, is there a tracked Mega Bot in the works?
Nice work:) were did you get the wheels.
Nice
Hi.. great build!! what is the name of the motors you used??
Nice Creation! I have few question about this project.what is the motor RPM and rating voltage?
Hi again, can you show how the motors are connected to the wheels? Are you using gears or belt?
what are the specifications on the motors used in the bot ? whats the torque rating and all ?
Thanks :)
Which motors do you use? They looks quite powerful.
Its realy easy of you now how it works and have the posibilitie to make it
Where can I find similar motors to the one you used?
What motors did you use? What about the max speed?
hi
can you share the 3D design of the chassis? I am working on a similar robot but I cant decide the exact design to be made. it would be really helpful if you can help me regarding some of the design aspects.
thank you
Thumbs up from Gregg and Maxx
I know this is an older video, but I will ask anyways and hope for an answer.
I have build one on a much small scale. This problem I have is when turning on hard floors. It will drag one side or the other depending on what way I am turning.
Is that be nature of this type of design or is there something I am missing. I'll turn the right wheels forward and the left backwards and it will turn but still drags one side. I'm sure it would be less noticeable on softer terrain. I almost feel like I heard yours doing the same thing.
Awesome build and video!
can you share the 3-D design of chasis
Nice toy
what are the demensions of the chassis.. and what is the distance between centers of front and rear wheels?
You are crazy!
I almost liked this robot (the ending is part I don't like).
The most useful part is running on snow, it is good to clean snow in winter time, and maybe other applications (lawn moving, etc.).
Anyway, thumbs up for this mega one.
Hi, how much torque are your motors??
Which batteries are the best for these cars?
which battery is used in this type of megabots???
Do you make the tires. How much do they cost?
which is the motor used
super
whats with the high pitch whine?
I custom build the wheels. I also sell them as a set
How many 12 volt batteries are there?
Hohohooo 😲😲😲 nota 10 👏👏 Brasil .
Hi, are you using servo motors? And where I can find those wheels? Thanks.
The motors are not servo motors, they are brushed motors.
The wheels are custom made. I sell them for $800/set of 4
The tire wheel assembly is $200 each
How much does it cost and where do you get one?
I custom build the wheels. I also sell them. They are 14" in Diameter
how much did it cost you to build this?
Hi sir in this robot which type of motor you have used means can I get a name of this motors
muito legal
love it!!!
robot use welded steel is steel shape square with size ?
and motor use is DC ?
thank so much !
what kind of controllers ?
what motor has it got
what are the motors and drivers? I understand you sell this product, but surely there is more that goes into your product than just motors and drivers. For all the hobbyists and students in university, could you help out?
How much will a set cost to buy
OMG I WANT SO BAD!!!!! How much, do you sell them?
Hi!
Looks like pretty good, but a little bit noisy.
Try to use higher PWM frequency!(18-20kHz) not ~8 kHz
Best regards!
This video changes a bit after 4:37
What materials are used in the super mega bot?
Brayan Fernando Sandoval Padilla The Chassis is made from welded steel and aluminum plates.
how much does this cost.?!
I am in urgent need of this.!
What's the price of it?
😳😳😳😳legend
Is robot automatically?
is the code for arduino available
Damn........................
I want to make something like this(not so complicated) for my school project with easily available materials..How should I?
Robot Marketplace has starter kits available that come with motors, electronics and wheels. As for the structural components, you could use wood, though if you plan on using it for anything high-stress I would suggest using stainless steel or even alloy steel. You can find that at OnlineMetals.
Thanks..
With the honey badger doesnt care voice: 4:16 "Brick walls? PFFT,.. this robot doesnt care" :D
DAMMM
Buy it of ya
I wanna see him put a chair on it and go off roading lmao!
Is it available in India how much cost where to contact i want in India
Almost 5-10 lakh
1:25 I saw a turtle do that once trying to make love to another turtle
How much :)
Dear Santa...
no suspension
low traction
It's not a bot, it's a radio controlled toy.
You think a remote operated vehicle that can breach a brick wall or tow a Hummer is a toy?
It think it's kickass but I think of bots as autonamous thats all.
Ching Hanson
But to call it a toy simply because it's not autonomous is a false dichotomy and a faulty generalization.
Ok it's not a toy but is it a bot? Quote Cambridge dictionary "a computer program that works automatically, especially one that searches for and finds information on the internet:"
Ching Hanson
Quoting that same dictionary:
"a mechanical device that works automatically or by computer control:", so I think you may have the wrong definition...
Even then, the word "Robot" is a term that has essentially grown beyond its definition.
Besides, if you want to argue semantics, technically Robot really means forced labor.
please name them the motor and its price
and also some other which my son can use in other cars..........
Why do we even have foot soldiers anymore.
i dn't think it can pull a Hummer car
$7990
i dare anyone to say this is rubbish... you know the consequences.
It doesn't recharge its self. I'm Out.
