I've seen the video where you were there before together with Max a while ago.
So when I came to Saigon for my vacation this was one of my first restaurants to eat at apart from the street vendors.
Although none of the staff spoke english apart from very few words, they were really caring and I had a beautiful time eating there thanks to you two for showing that restaurant to us!
Plant video was fun to watch, so many beautiful plants in all variations. Always love watching you and Max go on adventures in VN. Its like watching two brothers explore a beautiful country and just living. More videos of you two please and thank you! 😀

Mấy tiếng " Xuất sắc trong vai tỳ nữ " mỗi lần nghe là tôi tức cười , vì nó hay và rất có duyên . Miền nam ngày xưa còn có nhiều câu , nhiều tiếng lóng , nói cho vui nữa như " An toàn trên xa lộ " để chúc ai đi đâu bình an , vui vẻ . Còn nhiều lắm , hiện giờ không nhớ hết được .

Ty Nu or Nu Ty in Vietnamese mean a Maid . The old man is for sure a VBC ( Vietnamese Born Chinese ). You should add some daikon/carrot pickles ( do chua ) in your banh xeo/banh khot wrap to make it taste less fatty .

Xuất sắc trong vai tỳ nữ nghĩa là excellent as a waitress . Nghĩa là trong vai trò phục vụ tôi là người tuyệt vời đó Chris
Vì người nữ thường làm nghề phục vụ nên dùng từ. Tỳ nữ: tỳ là nô tỳ ( servant ) đây là từ Hán Việt . Nghĩa của nó trong sáng nhưng bác ấy giải thích bị nhiễm méo mó rồi
Xuất sắc trong vai tỳ nữ,một cách nói khiêm tốn,tự khen nhưng thừa nhận chỉ là một vai phụ!

Chris is correct in using soft in this instance. Soft is used to describe how something feels, so the inside of the bánh khọt feels soft. Tender when referring to food is used to describe something that is not chewy, so soft would be the more accurate word to use.
@@lacusclyne1 you may be right in this case … but I’ve seen Chris use the term soft for strips of beef …so in that occasion it would be tender …
Please don’t get me wrong it wasn’t meant to be a negative comment rather than a constructive criticism
But let me make it quite clear … I would never negatively criticise Chris in any form .. he’s far too intelligent and a gentleman..
