none of the 3 reboots connected 2 just felt like a standalone game and it felt like 1&3 were the main story
I agree. The campaign for this one also felt a whole lot shorter. Like, incredibly shorter. There should have been more cutscenes, Graves should have gotten a better redemption, and it would have been great to see a lot more missions with the shadows and seeing what they would have been doing with Farah's army.

Rushed game so they could push out maps we were owed last year, they give us these open combat missions to allude us into believing the game is longer then it is when it really isnt. Should have just been DLC for last year tbh

@@ajtikalsky9704 I meant as we should have operators from SASR, Seal team 6 and delta force as playable characters or major supporting characters rather than having a minor role were guy sits in a car and then dying 10 seconds later

Other than that, boring stale fluff without any meaningful stakes. Doesn't even have the actual good Americans in it. You know, the ones that made up HALF of the OG MW series. And no, I don't think Laswell and Alex count because one is C.I.A. made an honest, good person, which is laughable, and the other is a deserter that no longer deserves the U.S. flag patch on his plate carrier.
Roach can't even make a comeback, seriously?! Come the fuck on! An almost wordless, faceless protagonist was needed to spice up the same old cast, in my opinion.
Guess all those theories of other characters within and outside the MW universe making a return were never true. Still, interesting theories.
