Mr B as much as I've enjoyed their recent covers, Sorai is NEMOPHILA back to their best :)

It's been a busy couple days with Japanese and Korean live streaming this week. It started with Waking After U, then Unlucky Mopheus Acoustic, Accent, Elfriede and next up is Nemophila. Sorai is an original off their Raitei Single CD.

Completely agree with your review, Mr. B. These ladies are FANTASTIC. I'm not even much of a metal fan, but LOVE watching \ listening to Nemophila. They're ALL great musicians, they make it look easy and fun, AND they're cute (which certainly doesn't hurt). And, as you said, they are GREAT together! And just read that "Sorai" is an original, so now I'm even MORE impressed.

The lead singer has a voice that cuts through the music so you can hear it.
The guitarists are connected at the hip to be able to play like that.
Yes, Mayu, has a great voice and the band are so tight.
Been a really good day today watched the amazing Elfriede this morning, and Nemophila posting this just makes it the perfect day. This had elements of a few a different styles hard rock/metal/thrash and it all fits perfectly and sounds great. Hope they play it tomorrow, when they finally get an original album done it's going to blow many bands away

Sorai (= 爽籟 * The actual pronunciation is more accurate for "Sourai", or "Sohrai". The band members seem to pronounce it as "Sohrai".)
"Sorai" means "a refreshing autumn breeze".
"Sorai" is a literary term that is rarely used in everyday life.
It is a classic word made from the phrase of the Japanese poetry collection "Kokin Wakashū" made in Japan in the 7th century.
So I don't think even Japanese people know the meaning of this word.
Originally, "sohrai" was the word "suirai," meaning the whistle that the ancient Japanese made three holes in.
The breeze across the pine sounds like the whistle of "Suirai", so the sound of the autumn breeze you hear has come to be called "Sohrai" in another pronunciation (but it's a story of the 7th century).

Muratatam has lost her smile after joining Nemophila,she is an awsome awsome drummer that's being "hide" that dont get much atention on their videos. I love them all but show of your drummer Muratatam more girls. And thank you so much Mr.B 🙏🏻
Thank you, PA Kristensen, I don't thing joining Nemophila, made her lose her smile, I think that happened when she had the baby, being a mum, is hard work and being a drummer as well, that can't be easy for her, just my opinion, and at some point I will be reacting to drummers, and she will be one of them, I think she gets missed out when it comes to drummers, and she is awesome. and thank you very much, 👍
Christmas Day special for sure. Their concert was amazing! They get better and better every time I listen to them. Got up at 4AM to watch them, no regrets ever. These Japanese bands are just on another level. They are definitely one of my favourite bands, though no band can come close or surpass Lovebites, they are definitely high up there. I simply adore Mayu, she is amazing. All of them are. You are right, they can do everything. Heck they made Nickleback awesome :D
Bands all over the world should take a look at Nemophila, they started as a fun project a year ago and now they are a staple and one of the best bands out there. I to hope they will stay, think they realized that too. I am not a big fan of Saki's Amahiru colab, isn't bad but just not like Nemophila or Mary's Blood. Glad she is still active with Mary's Blood, hope they will continue as well.
Saw you on Zaiko :) It was a bit confusing with their YT pre-concert session though, but it was an interesting move to showcase from their previous performance on YT for free.

With Nemophila the songs hmmm I like them in every aspect but the songs doesn't end to grow on me. But there is a lot of potential here, some day they might explode, they are really close. And Mayu is an incredible singer. Together with Su the best one I have seen in this new girls' metal japanese bands.

Well done B man. Anyone who isn't reminded of BLACK SABBATH by the last 30 seconds of this song should probably get new holes drilled into their heads to replace their failing ears. MARY'S blood is a well known band but I'm not sure which of the girls it is that's in it but I would guess its the lead guitarist simple because of the way she looks so comfortable with being filmed. SHE'S very rock and roll. HOPE you found someone to share today with. You are a great reactor.

The feeling I get watching these girls is the same as I got from when I first discovered Band-Maid shortly after they released Thrill. I'm excited for this band, and if they can keep it together, the sky really is their limit. so much talent and potential.
