No joke, a friend from Middle East came to visit and was in shocked how dirty and full of homeless was LA..
Ive been to Kurdistan region in Iraq and it was 10 times better than LA. People were friendly and I felt 100% safe.
Im sure ive been to thailand not as bad.
Here in Arizona... the homeless have a hard time getting by here when it’s 115 degrees
For sure. A lot of them also head up to Flagstaff for summers.
That South Park episode has come to fruition 😂😂
The homeless encampments in Democrat-run cities are such wonderful tourist attractions.
I love em there so bottiful to look at
Ask those homeless where their from most of them are from out of state
Did Twitter shadow ban that post Pat? 😂 California didn't like your idea I guess, which means it's a good one.
Exact same story in my city this week. Fvcking nuts.
Other state senators have admitted to shipping their homeless here years ago. glad we're getting everyone's best and brightest.
Open borders bro!
😂
Same thing is happening here in Florida, it should be illegal
A one party state deserves nothing
@@philipjoyce8817 hell ya it will secure us Democrats more votes
Soon the Republican Party won’t be a factor in elections
Patt should go on California Insider on "Epoch Times."
The taxes would be somewhat justified if CA had the best infrastructure and education in the US. CA is being mismanaged of not robbed.
Maybe 🛑 handing out million dollar pensions like there Skittles to the public unions???🤔
So terrible to see my city with so many homeless people. But more terrible is to see authorities do nothing about it.
high rents, high home prices....nuts
This is Nancy pelosi's policies. Hope she enjoys her new neighbors
If I were to pay $1500 more in extra taxes as a tourist, hell no I am not going anywhere near that place.
Try telling your kids that when theyre dying to visit Universal Studios, LegoLand, and DisneyLand 😉
Yur comin here bud 😂
PLENTY of other places to go. Many other fun and beautiful places in the US especially in the US South and East Coast.
@@CryptoDad83 my kids don’t know what that garbage is, we’re going to national parks
@@CryptoDad83 Well, I have visited Universal Studios, in fact i've lived in CA for 5 years. Got to say that my top vacation spot is Vegas though, I just love the vibe and I am not that old yet lol. That said, an extra 1500$ for taxes is outrageous. I'd much rather keep those and spend them on Atlantis in the Bahamas or something :D No kids, no troubles ! :)
it wont add up to 1500 dude chill lmao.
I live in LA. I pulled up to an intersection and locked eyes with a homeless man while he somehow ,kinda impressive but still nasty, spread cheecks and shit on a light poll and it stuck......
😂😂😂
Omg....you Americans geez....our bums up here in Canada, at least they go behind the bushes....polite homeless
OMG. My dogs are better behaved than that.
Hey Patrick none of the Middle Eastern countries have a homeless crisis anywhere close to do US so stop comparing it
Do you know what happens in very single middle eastern country
Been following Major Williams, seems like a guy with great values and ideas.
How would the tourist tax be enforced? Paid at hotels(like in Europe) or at the state boarder? Just curious how you would do it, PBD
This has been happening for years! In the Bay Area I literally watched homeless ppl get off of a greyhound bus on south of market in SF!!
I'm in LA for the first time right now. I've never seen tents on the streets like this. Venice Beach is tent to tent and full of you know what
shits happening in LA giving me a big smile on Friday.
I'd say we need a homeless/addicts purge 🤭
@Vantum Noir that's the sad thing about democratic brainwashing propaganda and bought scientists
How about a politician purge?
@@degeneratechris why not both??
We have Disneyland here.
Forget about resisting not to come here....yur kids are wayyy to powerful 😂😂
Yeah but Florida has disney world and universal studios.
And now, we have Kamala Harris of California as the VP of USA.
Ooh my,, and the way I everytime leave our baby sleeping in the car,
They just complain about the problem without proposing any real solutions. They just said other states are sending their homeless to Cali. Cali's weather makes it easy to live outside. Cali is still very desirable that's why it's one of the most expensive states. Poor people can't afford the housing there. Seems like they need more homeless shelters and to build more housing to bring the cost down on housing. WTF is a tourist tax going do to solve this problem? No connection is made to housing and homelessness between this tourist tax. If the dollars from the tax go toward building housing and homeless shelters then it would make sense.
I’ll be in LA next week from Texas lol
Lol! I'll be in San Antonio this Sunday, coming from Cali
You can still turn around
You should run for governor Patrick!
"🎶 California, the city of the homeless. Califor nia nia nia... 🎶"
Never been to the US, great entertainment though.
Cali already has a tourist tax, every city has it, add 15% state and you will have no tourists.
Major Williams just got caught up misusing campaign funds and other scandals too lol i liked him tho
!!!!PAT PLEAESE HAVE MAJOR WILLIAMS ON YOUR SHOW!!!! I AM NOT LEAVING CALI. I AM FIGHTING FOR MY STATE, NOT ABANDONING THE STATE!!!
California, I should say anything SF and south is lost in Ca. Train wreck. I feel horrible for those in No. Cal that have to deal with that.
“There is no safer place than prison” -PBD
He's full of ignorant statements.
Tell me about it
Nothing new. Homeless have been lighting trash on shopping carts to warm up all over los angeles County
If they don’t eliminate the homelessness problem it will affect everything including tourism.
I thought there was already tourist taxes in place already! Have you stayed at a hotel or rented a car??? They give the advertised price and then you get the car and it is twice as much!!!
You know what they're really talking about here, with the tourism tax? It's a *consumption tax,* which is the fundamental basis of the FAIR TAX proposal that people like Mike Huckabee and others have proposed for some time now! It essentially replaces ALL other taxes (income, estate, etc.) with a *consumption tax* that comes out to around 25-30%; which means that, every time you buy something in the state, there's a tax included in the price of that item that pays for government services! No one ever pays an income tax again, or an estate tax, or a capital gains tax, or a death tax - or whatever. You MIGHT, depending on the locality, still have property taxes.... but that would be rare; if done at all. And, guess what? This is essentially how revenues were generated in this country BEFORE the 16th Amendment, which imposed the current tax system (and created the IRS, among other things)! So.... this has essentially been done before in the US!
For details on this proposal, go to www.fairtax.org/
Now, California will NEVER do what Bet-David is proposing! Why? Because of the exact reason he explained; politicians in CA (or any blue state, for that matter) will NEVER consider DOING AWAY with a tax already levied on the population, in order to replace it with something else (especially something that would work better overall; which is what a Fair Tax proposal would do!); *they would impose the tourism tax ON TOP OF the taxes already levied! Why do away with a tax, when you can just add to it? That's how politicians - especially those on the Left - think! Have you EVER heard of a state, or a city, or a village, COMPLETELY DOING AWAY WITH A TAX? It doesn't happen in America! The ONLY way to get a true Fair Tax in this country, is to COMPLETELY TEAR UP AND DISCARD THE EXISTING SYSTEM, AND GO TO A NATIONWIDE CONSUMPTION TAX THAT REPLACES ALL OTHER TAXES BEING COLLECTED AT ALL LEVELS!*
And that will NEVER happen, *unless we redo the Constitution (Article 5) by repealing the 16th Amendment and abolishing the IRS.... or, there's another Civil War - and the people force the government to institute it!*
My name is joe and let them folks know i wanna run for cali governor and try help this homeless problem??
Same deal in san Francisco if ur a tourist visiting sf ur car will probably be broken into.
I don't know. Most people I know from other states that have seen how nasty it is here are not coming back any time soon.
None of that actually solves the homeless problem🙄
California would never reduce or eliminate income tax...it's too much money lost. And who in their right mind would subject themselves to tourist tax only to be surrounded by homeless encampments? I think we should find a permanent solution to that major issue first.
Get rid of the public unions and their opulent pensions and salaries!!! Tell them sorry but your pensions were a Ponzi scheme!!!
The result of one-party rule.
PAT FELT BAD FOR YOUR TECH TRYING TO FIND THAT DATE IN YOUR TWITTER FEED. IVE BEEN THERE BEFORE. I just got real estate in California paid by state taxes🤣
How
New tax is stupid
When you talk about these problems, it’s getting lame just doing that, look look look? talk about solutions? Donations charities ? we all know it exists and it’s getting worse, let’s talk about fixes!
Why can a person become homeless? Mental illness, bad decisions, and high costs.Public property becomes their home. The government has to provide their welfare.Apartments built in your neighborhood to house them.No warehouse these people to a job and therapist.
Some are addiction problem
To see what it's like, look at the channel German in Venice.
The car blowing up is nothing cus you have insurance? FUCK DAT!
That’s a $1000 bucks deductible and 70% of Americans can’t afford that random bullshit.
Plus, your insurance goes up after that maybe $500 a year or more.
This crime has a fucking real world victim.
PBD wrong on this one. Billions goes to fight homeless crisis in cali but where does the money end up? Some people are lining their pockets and the worse it gets the more they ask for.
I work in LA county
Live in SB county
Only rarely I go downtown LA Lil Tokyo
Thats enough for me. Ill deal with coyotes & pumas. They wont set my gear on fire.
Only problem with tourism tax is California already some of the highest in the country. Get rid of special interest programs which support the worst progressive state in the country.
If you keep the homeless- guess what . You will always have some cash flow
The problem it's not the homeless arriving, the problem is that we became fed up with the bs politics and that's why I left..
It’s ok just give them a thousand bucks a month , that will fix the problem
Sincerely wish you could run for President.
You’d make an excellent leader for the country and the world.
We need new, good people.
Don't easily get carried away by the fascinating oratory here. Ones you are in that desk it's a whole new story.
Pat, I live in Santa Monica and I can tell you that this is not uncommon to see homeless people burning down cars in the middle of the day. It actually happened a few weeks ago in front of my building..
ShowMeTours app
Nope, there are also homeless camps in the woods. They started a forest fire...
A tourist tax seems interesting but more open minded folks would rather go to Mexico to get more bang for the buck without a tourist tax.
Have fun getting kidnapped or trafficked by the cartel. If you drive a truck or SUV, be prepared at any red light you get stuck at because they will try and take it from you. This is no joke and has happened to numerous folks I know. People have no clue how messed up it is there. If you fly and get to the tourist areas or go on a cruise its a little better but driving through is sketchy at best.
Even down here in San Diego, the homelessness and crime rate has skyrocketed!! There’s homelessness everywhere in this city and it’s gotten so much worse. Downtown and the beach areas of SD have always had a problem with homeless people, but now it’s in almost every part of the city. The infrastructure is falling apart, so many small businesses have closed up due to Covid, and the cost of living is insane!! I can’t wait to move out of here this fall to Arizona. It’s a complete disaster, San Diego and California as a whole.
Our new Mayor will make it look just like LA and SF. I give it about a year.
I know, he’s going to be soft on crime as well. I’ve noticed since SD County started to become more liberal in the last 5 years or so, our crime rate, infrastructure, homelessness and taxes have gotten worse. San Diego truly was a gem of a place to be years ago, now it’s become more ghetto and trashy in many areas all throughout the County. SMFH
A bird told me that Adam Sosnick is causing the homelessness crisis in California. I also heard the best way to fix it is by removing Sosnick....
This is due to anger and frustration. Lack of belief with society. It could get worse and riots etc. This is the downfall of out society due to printing. Any opinions?
U mean it high end classy place rich ppl place lol
Why do they talk about the same topics over and over.
Pat you really need to prep before you do the pod, this whole making Kai search for stuff during the pod is very disorganized. You should have like a rundown before the pod and be able to have access to all your sources before the pod starts
Glad I’m not the only person who kind of gets annoyed by this lol.
Take a hike mate!
Williams in in some scandal. Not good.
Pat? I'm loving the tanned skin.
Every thing looks better with color.
Black & Brown is the new THIN.
Why not hotel/house the American homeless and not illegal migrants!!!!
Round them up and help the ones that really need just a hand up. And the rest who are insane just lock em up in a loony bin. And let the rest if us tax payers live our lives in peace
Love it. Cali is a bunch of weirdos.
Miss Sam Colt
Y’all can keep Cali...yuck
Money doesn't help homeless are u kidding its the way they are dealing with homeless is the problem
Hey Pat, you know what would be a good video to make? 1st world countries with highest crime rate (murder, rape, etc), most homelessness, highest incarceration, highest drug use, highest drug addiction. Wonder where the US will rank on those lists 😁 Greatest country in the world based on selective metrics 🤷♂️
Oh, maybe also look at healthcare, education, transport. 😁
I think the problem is expecting a solution that will lower the number of homelessness. LA is a mecca/sanctuary for homeless people because of the programs, fair weather and people in similar situations. If people think to fix the problem we need to lower the number then that will never happen. We need to look towards India and other mega cities that handle hungry/homeless populations and find effective ways to allow them to live or give them opportunities to seek help.
Authoritarian solutions involves making mental illness/homeless a crime and arrest them or detain them. Force them to seek treatment have bike cops and other police knock down tents. I use to work in Skidrow and use to see and interact with these people first hand. Yes it is sad to see but the first step is realistic goals and realistic solutions on how we want to handle the COUNTRIES homeless problem. Because this population are form multiple states.
Also the mental competent homeless people know that they can go to a cop say they want to jump in traffic and they classify as a 5150 where they will get a 3 days into a hospital/psych facility get a shower, food, free smokes, etc. and then go back on the street. When I use to be an EMT there was actually a couple that did this and word on the street was they broke up cause they stopped coming together.
Make America California Again??? 🤦♂️
You know whats crazy its all a plan
It seems nice... We should elect a democrat to finally solve all the problems once and for all.
Pat ...u get your show ideas for ROGAN....
That's weak ....just like Adam.💯🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
IT CAN COME IN HANDY WHEN THE TWITTER SEARCH FIELD DOESN'T DO ITS JOB.
I see all these people make fun of California. How do the politicians in charge get elected? The people of California elect them. I guess they like what is going on there. Leadership of the state? The people elected them and they should face the consequences.
People should be able to do whatever they want to! If they want to be homeless, let them be... Leave them alone.
States sending their homeless to California should be sued for the expenses of housing them at California prices.
Ha ha ha ha i love it wait untill summer you ant seen nothing yet
Dafuq East LA ain’t even that bad lol. The west side is really bad.
Fucken joke this problem and tax paying citizens get shit on daily.
Homelessness is a logical consequence of an American extreme individualistic and selfish society where you are left to your own devices, nobody gives a F if you die on the street. Billionaires are the rock stars, and the middle class, which is supposed to be the backbone of society, is disappearing. Society is falling apart and the homeless are an inevitable consequence of this, not just in California...
You are also responsible for your own life and if you choose to flush it down the toilet and become homeless thats on you. Mental illness being the exception here of course but drugs and being an overall non productive person garners no sympathy. The mentally ill should be helped and treated but the druggies are the ones who have to save themselves. There are numerous programs for them to get clean but they don't want to follow those rules to take the step and would rather stay homeless.
@@crzyruskie86 You are misleading. American society does not help neither, no matter if the homeless person is mentally ill or drug addict. What’s more, American society doesn’t even help those who normally go to work and get sick one day. You have to be perfectly healthy and with a good job in America - otherwise you're screwed.

Where are homless going?
Where the per-capita income is most high. Rich people go where it's most low..
Why, because rich people find more power around mostly poor people and poor people harness power around wealthy people..
The poor hope for crumbs they can't find around other poor people and rich hope to only give back crumbs to the most poor
Since Texas and Florida are number 25 and 38 per capita, all rich people show up..
Since blue states make the best decisions and are more wealthy, all the poor show up for opportunity..
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_and_territories_by_income
Why is that people are so confused about why people are poor. It's quite simple. Maybe the system doesn't work the way you were told growing up. Does that ever cross anyone's mind? It's quite obvious and simple
Don’t blame the system for people being poor.... liberal mind set
A "system" isn't responsible for you. You are responsible for you. Don't depend on anything but yourself. Get out of your negative situations and grow. We don't want a system
@@MagicMikeMessi if you lived in a system I created knowing it was hurting you, I would just tell you what you just told me
@@nicholasgilbertson7161 don't want a system anarchist
Ah yes, the victim mentality.
Or maybe the single-mother/fatherless epidemic, which research shows is major cause in poverty, has something to do with it.
