    *The meaning of the word occult: hidden knowledge.*
    From that meaning, *(the journey of the word to overwhelmingly that of "evil" would be a subject that has the greater interest point for the benefit of "clarity" on the subject.)*
    The point of Positive "hidden knowledge" seems to be fully missing in this subject.
    Possibly, this subject offers an observation of "a Party or Parties of the past, recent past or at length, whom managed to apply their influence upon the Public using this subject, for their advantage". *You see, fear is a most effective tool.*

      I mean no disrespect, but are you saying Occultism is a fear based manipulation tactic?

      It's better for people to outright reject all occult belief systems out of fear of evil if they aren't prepared or willing to really understand esoteric knowledge. A wise occultist should scare away people who aren't searchers.

    Occult is a latin derived word meaning hidden from sight. One who practices magic is not necessarily in the occult like witchcraft which utilizes obvious forces like the elements of the kingdom i.e physical fire water and air which are under the rule of the earthly triplicity on earth and in the material. There are definitions which substantially define occult like they do in the video thats fine standardized definitions are important in magick, which brings me to my next point the various definitions of magick may have nothing to do with the word occult. The importance of occult as hidden from sight is explained best by source-ery looking for the root and root causes of things until you backtrack all the way up the circuit to source and draw power from it. This entails mysteries and veils of knowledge that can only be classified as hidden or occult. You can be an occultist and have nothing to do with spirit or mgk.

    Occult = O-Cult = Hidden-Knowledge
    *From the Latin verb "occultare" = to hide/to conceal/ to keep secret

      Not quite. The word Occult comes from the word Occulus. (Eyes) To see WHAT is hidden

      @@grandpow The word occult is delivered from the Latin adjective occultus "hidden" which comes from the Latin verb "occultare" to hide, to conceal, to keep secret 😉

    whats the difference between shamanism and occultism?
    i am also curious of the culture and customs of the druids before the roman empire.

    • @caveman3021
      @caveman3021 Před 2 lety +4

      Since occult means hidden knowledge, if your wondering about shamanism or druids, there would be no difference.Many "Christians" would say both of these things are "occult" They used to say when we understand how magic works..we start calling it science

      I grew up in hardcore Christianity that basically considered anything not Jewish, Christian, or Islamic as "Satanic." So when I got out of the house and was exposed to the real world, I got into sacred geometry and some really basic spiritual stuff, but I called things as simple as mindfulness meditation "Satanism" as that's the natural conclusion of what I was taught growing up. This led to me getting really treated like shit by people over nothing because I would say stuff like, "You know, I've tried this Satanism stuff and it seems pretty innocuous."😅 .@@caveman3021
      After all these years since then I've figured out the real reason the occult is often kept hidden is just because people will treat you like shit if you don't.

      The core of "Occultism" IS wisdom AND the practical application of one's inner power. The hiding of such accomplishments IS called "The OCCULT".The "Commercializing of it allows the Satan's influence.
