Phoenix and Bikerush are incredibly entertaining to watch! Their knowledge of timings and unit usage is simply out of this world!
I feel Zone Raiders and Grenadiers needed better targeting of moving targets. Ravagers received that and people feel it's fair after all.
Agreed, a faster projectile speed wouldn't be a bad change at all, its such a shame grenadiers are used so little given that they are the equivalent to Nod's Black Hand squads.
@@squishymusic9723 yeah totally agree. They are a really iconic part of GDI too. Them, Orcas and Mammoth tanks are the most important elements of GDI that are in every game!

this was quite epic tho, the competitiveness + the intentional making it last longer made this like super cool
like try to see this match as actual gdi fighting with all they got against an overpowered scrin force, making armies here and there to try to defeat them, losing lots of small battles but making progress in smarter ways to then end up with a desperate attempt after even the last holdout failed

Yes, Zone Raiders weapon was always bugged like that, and i'm kinda surprised that it's still not fixed.

I don't think it's a bug I think they're just terrible at hitting moving targets. I just never realized they were **that** bad.
@@OneSybert it is clean bug, as they trying to attack previous target position instead of current at each shot.
Thus if you reorder them to attack new target or position, they will shoot properly.
@@masterleafcnc other than that i don't think zocom has any answer to R17 late gane fire power so yeah "bugged"
@@Vordikk vehicles have that behaviour, which means that zone raiders are actually vehicles.
i always found that incredibly dumb, even the slow predators end up shooting backwards while their target is in front if they give chase to infantry. a point where railguns are a massive improvement, especially against buzzers.

38:47 since the rift wormhole will also absorb the sunlight (redirect it to the other end) I suppose there would be a shadow?
yea, I would believe that rift would cast a shadow since it is blocking light from the sun to that particular spot. The light rays from the sun to it are being instead transferred to empty space, so that part of the ground gets a shadow cast upon it. Makes sense to me, the rift is basically an orb.

Zone Raiders have a bug where if you order them to attack a unit outside range, they'll move in close and attack where the unit was at the time you made the command. So optimally you should A-move with them, or even better force fire them at a point and then all the grenades will hit the area you force fire to. With force fire you can do a lot more damage, assuming you hit the target, and then you don't leave them that way in case the target dies/moves. This all applies to Zone Heads too, where it gets quite hilarious if you target something that moved two screens away by the time they come into range.

rough matchup when neither team has artillery. Idk the patch notes of R19, but there seems to be a focus on base defenses, which is a rough offensive situation for Reaper-17 and ZOCOM.

Once a green field is completely harvested, how fast does it regrow. Like, can 1 or 2 harvesters continually (without going idle) get tiberium from it without idle time, or not even 1?
I think Masterleaf did a video on that. I thought you'd get more money overall by stopping the harvesting entirely to let it regrow, which would imply that once the field is depleted even just one fulltime harvester is probably more than enough if you're not allowing it to regrow at all.
You'd normally leave 1 harvester. However Tiberium regrows slowly so that 1 harvester will likely never be full, just continually bringing in reduced income.
If you can afford to leave the field alone and let it regrow you'll get more money (as Masterleaf showed) but you have to live long enough to come back and harvest it. Most players choose the reduced income over time rather than letting it regrow.
Also I think map makers can change the regrow speed so some maps might regrow faster or slower. I think green fields are generally the same regrow on every map and only blue fields have slower regrow. Not exactly sure how that works.
A harvester mines faster than tiberium grows, but there is a second component why letting it regrow is better. Tiberium grows in two phases, first small crystals, then large crystals. The large crystals are worth a more and grow faster relative to the $ worth. (I forgot the exact values, but lets say small is 300, big is 1000, and both stages take 30 seconds the grow, the second step thus generates more value in the same time period). The problem is that constantly managing it is time consuming so most just let 1 harvester work it
That reclamator hub kill is one of the reasons why bikerush is hated and loved at the same time ^^

It's very interesting to see Bikerushownz, one of the most aggressive player in the game, being SO passive! But the moment Phoenix exhaust himself against R17, he already lost.

I never had a problem where zone raiders miss like stormtroopers. They do aim for a previous position but its not as drastic as in this video. They miss like 5 in game meters max.
don't know weather or not Zocom have missile troops or not but if they have, they would have been way better than the zone raiders, since those guys could hit any moving target.
they do. Zone raiders do cannon damage in a splash, which is good both against vehicles and infantry, if they hit. Plus the zone raiders have anti-air rockets, making them kinda like little mammoth infantry squads. They're a very powerful unit, but they are expensive and don't track moving targets well. Phoenix may have done better with mass missiles and riflemen, though those blue shard walkers would have torn through them. Bike just had too much. Zone shatterers may have helped chew through those huge armies.
i like how zone raiders have luck on those aims and with the rng bruh

Nah i use zocom all the time , zoneraiders aim is no where near that bad. Thats definitely a bug
