@@ireproductions4922 ah darn I was hoping to fit it without making any changes to the frame, the dt50 engine is way to slow I've got it tuned up with a airsal and a few other bits but won't go over 50mph
@@Declanpyro907 my other dt does 60 mph no problem with stock engine, airsal 70cc, a good aftermarket pipe, 24mm carb or bigger, high gearing and upgraded clutch
I agree with ire production, I've owned one for about 3 years now and have had zero issues, seems to be a very reliable engine, dispite it being made in china. Makes decent power aswell especially since the port work, I lowered the base of intake port 1.5mm and widened it 2mm total, raised the exhaust port 2mm and widened 2mm total along with raising the tope edge of transfers to match the exhaust so right at 2mm, matched ported the transfer to the cases, cleaned up any casting flaws, polished the exhaust port and rouged up the intake. Really screams up top, with hard hitting midrange, basically killed the low end but it's enough to get out the hole and that's just the nature of porting two strokes.

Nice conversion. I did the same swap except I used an old 78 ds80. Runs pretty good, surprised how reliable it has been being a china girl.
i used to own a ds80 i atleast put 3000 or 4000 miles on dirt road riding in 3 years before i sold it now i cant find another one!

yeah i needed to cut and bend out the frame a bit to get the engine to fit
