What's your best tip to help get baby to sleep during that crazy 4th trimester?!

My baby is 9 weeks and suddenly her naps are just horrible… difficult to be put to bed and only sleeping for 30-40min at a time. Going towards late afternoon she gets VERY cranky 😭 I do put her to sleep 45-60ml min when she gives me tired cues normally.
Paediatrician just saying nothing I can do until it improves in 3 months? I constantly feel like we’re taking a step forward on one thing and 3 steps back on another.

How do you count the 15-17 hours or just generally how many hours they sleep? E.g., would it be how much they sleep from when they fall asleep at night until they fall asleep the next night?
Also, I can't wrap my head around how parents add a bath to their nighttime routine. My 4 month old cries and stresses out whenever we bathe him. I've tried a few different ways to calm him down, but they just don't work. We have to just ignore the crying and quickly bathe him. It's so rushed that I feel like the bath only serves as a reason to shampoo his head, clean his privates with water, and to just say we bathed him. I get him much cleaner by wiping him down every morning.
