- Made in Oakland: Golden State Warriors small forward Harrison Barnes has been in Oakland for four years but had never seen and experienced the full effect of the city. Bay Area News Group columnist Marcus Thompson, a native of East Oakland's Sobrante Park, took Barnes on a tour of his hometown and provided an inside look at how there's so much more to The Town than is portrayed on the surface.

There are a lot of good things about Oakland. For decades this was a well kept secret. Somehow ppl found out & now lots of ppl what to live here.
