  • Jim's planning to leave his wedding with his bride in the 1962 Mercury Monterrey we call the "Maniark". There's lots of last minute prep going on to get her roadworthy (exhaust, brakes, transmission, taillights, etc.). Thankfully it survived a mis-hap unscathed!!

About Maniacs Garage and its creator:
Hello, my name is John. Over the past few decades I have built some pretty crazy rides and Born 49ain may be the craziest! After spending the last 15 years working on my Real Estate business, raising a family and help plant a start up church, I was ready to embark, along with my son and a group of friends, on a new project.
However, this was not just any old project, we've done the first ever 1949 Ford Shoebox chassis swap to a 2008 BMW 335i.

Keep in mind that we don't do this for a living and the budget is very limited.

Check the push rod length between the booster and master. It can keep the fronts partially applied if it's too long.
