- A bit of mental therapy for me today. Making a Coin Ring.
I have been Making things for years. I was told by a friend I should post a video making a ring, so here we go. Coin rings have beena thing for a long time, and there are many types I ahave seen.
If you care to donate to the family of Detective Joe Seals, you can do so here: This is the official link and his family will be getting your donation for sure. t.co/2pWeq0elzc - Krátké a kreslené filmy

I'm send my sympathies and condelances to your friend family that was killed in line duty and as always great video
Can't say that I've seen a dapping block in an automotive facility before this video. Very cool. I'm not a jeweler, but I use many jeweler's tools in my work. Had to learn how to use them and became familiar with some of the techniques. Forgive me if you're aware of this, IMO you can greatly benefit from a flexshaft.
It's essentially a relatively big 4-pole motor that hangs above the bench, a ~36" flexible shaft terminated with a 5/32 chuck. An equivalent of a Jacobs #0. The single most versatile tool I own. It can be a sander, a polisher, a cutter, a small die grinder...and on and on. Works well for polishing cylinder heads. Numerous applications. The Foredom SR is the industry standard, and HFT offers one, as well. The HFT is only $50 without a coupon. I own both. The Foredom is more versatile in terms of having a selection of handpieces, and looks better, but for 7-8X less cost the HFT tool doesn't lose much ground. I run both daily, and have an older Foredom as well. Never a problem that wasn't caused by unintended use, like running 3"-4" wire brushes. They twist the inner shaft over time. A replacement shaft is inexpensive and only takes a few minutes to install. Actually, just did this a couple of days ago.
My most sincere condolences for your loss.
I like to tinker...
I'm certain your friend appreciates you taking the time to do this for him, esp on such a rough day. Thanks pal
Great, great video, Joe! It was awesome how you made that!

You're just awesome Joe.

(1) Joe, I feel your pain. I was a volunteer firefighter and we lost our chief. It's not good.
(2) You are an amazing guy. Great work, great tanks, now great rings! What else is behind that calm mask? Amazing guy...
Thank you...and thank you for you for keeping others safe.
@@JoesAutoElectric I should say I am disabled now due my firefighting duties. But I didn't become a bum I redirected my energies elsewhere. I do miss it. I really enjoyed helping people at their worst moments.
So sorry for your loss Joe!

Prayers to his family first and foremost. I know it's tough on you also my friend. I walked the blue line for a time and lost a few friends that way, Prayers again to all.
Sorry for your loss Joe..They said on the Fox News channel that (Tunnel for Towers)Will be paying off his familys home morgage.
Yes, thank you, and in my opinion the least they can do for the family. He deserved so many more years...
Nice job. Have made those myself.
Fun to do
I read the article on detective seals. Good man doing good things. We seem to have the same issue with pistol hand guns being used for crime and violence. It sucks! On all fronts. We need more people/law enforcement like seals. Ring looks great. I wonder if you could make one from a Canadian toonie? They are made from 2 different metals.
Sorry to hear about your friend Joe. I'm in Va. but looked up the incident. Man the world we live in these days is just insane man. You get up to go to work to do your job, or go into the local bodega to get your lunch or milk or whatever it may be and bamm. Some physcopath walks in and shoots you for no reason. Law enforcement has it really tuff these days man. I feel sorry for them. They're trying to stand up for and protect us as citizens and people do nothing but give them a hard time. ✌ Sorry for your loss.
Thank you.
Sorry to hear. God bless.
Great job sorry for friend
