You know, I almost thought Doc would bounce off this game hard given its slower more narrative focus but really cool how he appreciated what they were trying to accomplish. A game certainly not for everyone but man if it clicks with you, really nothing like it.

This game is meant to do on your own to fully be understood (with the voices for example)

I sometimes wonder why Doc’s PC gives so much trouble. My PC is midrange and i never have these problems. CPU is outdated. I7 9700K with a 4070Super. And i ran this game just fine. DLSS on 80fps 1440p
14th gen CPUs have some problems with default bios settings. Motherboard Vendors have the settings way out of spec, causing so many issues

Love the chat telling doc it's capped at 30, not understanding what dynamic resolution scaling does... If the game drops below a target framerate it will lower the resolution, if you are getting 85 FPS at native resolution it will have ZERO impact.

Sounds like any of the Residents evil games. Only they come at 70 dollars. I finished RE3 remake in 2,5 hours. First play through. Im happy they did lower the price with this one. And it’s on gamepass.

where is part 2?
I’m about 30-40 minutes into the game but it feels so slow. The combat is fun but I feel like fighting is spaced so far apart. You fight someone, then it’s 10 minutes before u fight someone else. And there’s so many times I feel like I’m not in control. My wife thought I was watching a movie for about 15 minutes. Hopefully it gets better but if I had to rate it for the 30-40 minutes I’ve played I’d give it a 5/10.
