I've been wanting to visit La Vie in the Sky for a while now, and I'm so glad I finally got the chance, and we were lucky enough to visit on a clear day.
La Vie in the Sky is a modern French restaurant and winery in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City. Known for its unique interiors and stunning views of the city, La Vie in the Sky is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
The restaurant is perched atop a mountain, offering breathtaking views of Metro Cebu, the Mactan Channel, and the Cebu City skyline. La Vie in the Sky has several floors, each with its own terrace, so guests can enjoy the views from multiple vantage points.
The restaurant's interior is just as impressive as its exterior. La Vie in the Sky features a mix of luxe and industrial design, with antique furniture, leather chairs, crystal chandeliers, and unfinished cement walls. The restaurant also has a large fireplace and tall French windows that offer unobstructed views of the city.
La Vie in the Sky serves a variety of French dishes, as well as breads, pastries, and sweets. The restaurant also has a wine storage room and a long table where meetings and wine tastings can be held.
The food at La Vie in the Sky is just as impressive as the views. We had the French tasting menu, and every course was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable dining experience in Cebu City, I highly recommend La Vie in the Sky. You won't be disappointed!

Hello Robbie Travels my friend after your visit in Cebu, Philippines I highly recommend to proceed & explore Siargao Islands, Philippines especially the breathtaking pure white sand beaches in Guyam Island, Daku Island & Naked Island. There is a direct daily flight from Cebu going to Siargao Islands. There are lots of attraction to offer in General Luna, Siargao Islands

Wow! Nice food in a beautiful setting with a great view. I wonder if this place has a French owner. The service is certainly the Filipino way: they don't succeed at serving a whole table (even if there are only 2 people) at the same time. Well, when you're in the Philippines you go with the flow! 🙂

@@RobbieTravels managed to get rid of a pallet I've had in my yard for 3 years. Result!
its an okay French bakery theme restaurant, the food was meh, pastries were okay at best nothing like authentic or even basic commercial French pastries, the prices were egregious, gelato was good though I'll give them that, as well as the view of course, but other than that I wouldn't recommend it, its just overhyped in Cebu, its crowded af since its overhyped and tbh there are just better stops/restaurants in Busay, heck in my opinion just bring your own food and look for a watchpoint and have a picnic, its better than spending on these pseudo lavish establishments.
I liked the food, Mads liked her pasta too.😉 It is true that the service was really slow, the food was quite expensive and many options weren't available, but in my personal experience I can't really complain that much about the food. Of course, many people visit this place since the view is amazing there. So that may explain the higher prices.🙂 Thank you for sharing your opinion and watching this video. I really appreciate it.😀
@@RobbieTravels to each their own I guess, but again they do have good gelato, and I do find myself buying a baguette or two from the other la vie restaurant in Gorordo since I work close to it. Personally if I were just there to enjoy the views of Busay I can think of two better spots than La vie, and to be fair you don't go there for good food so its always recommended to bring your own, but for good food ingredients Busay has plenty, just by the road you can get a really good sweet corn for cheap and they got plants and herbs for sale, I like to buy the parsley there its pretty good and cheap, plenty of good plants there not to mention the scenery just along the road just random sprinkling of orchards and flowers it soothes me from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Well, I haven't tried your recommendation yet. So who knows it might be better. 😉 That is the point why I make these videos. Share places that are great, in my opinion, and if someone has a better recommendation, please share.😁 In the end, we all want the best possible experience.👍I totally love everyone's thoughts. ❤️

when you went back to city, did you call scooter taxi by app? or made a appoinment with driver who drove you to the bar from city.
i really wanna get there alone. but im not sure if i could find a scooter taxi coming back to city.

@@lusinamendel5656 We used grab to book a taxi to get back but it took a very long time for someone to accept the ride and it was quite expensive. Not the best location to get to if you don't have a car... You're welcome ;)
Could you tell me if you are serious? I was there in July of last year. The view is fantastic, the food and customer service sucks! Sorry, my honest opinion.
I liked the food maybe it depends on what you order or the moment. I didn't have any complaints about the food. The service was really slow, and it's pricey, but other than that, everything was great. I can only write about my own experience. 😉 But I'm happy that you share your own thoughts and experience here. I really appreciate it and thank you for watching.😁
