I have eight episodes from the Blackie Connors / The Burglar era (Nov 1993 to Christmas, or New Year 94 I think). Their format and source is MPEG from VHS and the reason I have them is because I played the actual 'Burglar' in those episodes. I have been reluctant to just go ahead and share them through my CZcams channel because of possible copyright infringement issues with RTE. I did phone the Glenroe department at RTE years ago to ask if I could share and they said they would get back to me. They never did unfortunately ...
Martin, I have added you as contact here on CZcams now. If you can assist in any way with getting this matter resolved in ways that suit everyone I would be grateful to you.

The quality of the soap went downhill in the last few seasons. Mileys affair with Biddys cousin Fidema was seen by many as the 'jump the shark moment' of Glenroe. It's two leading actors Mary McEvoy (Biddy) and Joe Lynch (Dinny) decided to leave in 2000 for various reasons. This was the writing on the wall for the series. Plus, RTE lost interest in it.
