The statue in Duomo's square was vandalized with washable paint by some environmentalists. It turns out that the washable paint does not go away with water and it will cost €200000 to restore it.
Oh! We noticed the paint on the statue, thanks for the info. That's so sad it has been damaged.

Imagine going all the way to Milan.......just to have coffee in a Starbucks!! lol .....when there are a gazillion better places in this chic city to have coffee at. The mind boggles.
And Americans wonder why others think they're incredibly inward looking and 'unworldly'.
