I use to play with bryan when we were in highschool! He was really good for his age and I was very bad
Every song on this project was a masterpiece and this song was the perfect intro to ETF's best album. The way Monte's style complemented Craig's voice is something I'll miss forever and I wish we could've gotten more of
The original guitar solo is a classic but the improv takes it to the next level. Awesome work guys!

I'm not that proficient in terminology either but the main reason I like Monte's stuff is because it's also quite melodic instead of just fast shredding. like he plays fast and it still comes out so melodic. I feel the same way about synyster gates from avenged sevenfold

I had to come back to this, seeing monte actually play is fucking nice. i'm going to elaborate on this, because I thoroughly enjoy watching playthroughs and I rarely get to see this man up close. I play guitar pretty aiight, but my shredding is garbage. seeing these smooth ass sweeps, and pick speed, and just smooth transitioning altogether gives me inspiration to become a god as well.
No one has shit on Monte, one of the sickest solos I have ever heard, been a fan since day one keep going boys you have a lot of loyal fans out here!

After you guys left ETF went downhill! I still remember the first time I heard a song form ETF, it was Issues and I was fuckin amazed. Then I went on and listened a whole album and by the end of the day you were my new fave band. To this day I still listen to the old stuff. It brings me back the good vibes. I also remember you two had a project called Beyound unbroken, idk what happened to that but guyyys you have a damn talent! Use it and give us the great music we all know you can make! Also thanks for that cover, you brought back so many memories! ❤️

I don't know anything about copyrights and royalties, but is a little bit weird see Monte covering his own songs lol
But I loved the video, Monte and Michael had such a unique songwriting style with ETF, and I have absolutely nothing against Kevin and TJ, but their actual guitar work is just not good as it were with Monte and Michael :)
The guitarwork is a choice they're making and it's pissing me off.
TJ did the rhythms on MIW's Creatures, and Kevin's always been known to shred...
When I heard they were the replacements, I thought it was perfect! Then they decided to be sellouts and write what label execs tell them to, instead of flexing their musical and creative prowess....

And Kevin can write good songs and he can shred.
And yes monte can shred to but I just feel when you hear monte playing guitar you know it's monte
Where Kevin its just shredding and not his own unique style.
But again nothing against Kevin and tj thankful they kept etf together when they almost fell apart.
And it took two failure of albums (imo hate me and I am human weakest etf albums)
But their latest chemical warfare its probably my second or third favorite album by the band.
Ungrateful being first and TWIO either being third or second as well lol

They sound authentically ETF.
None of them sound out of place in an ETF Playlist on shuffle.
Just that, as albums, most of the songs sound like "middle of an album" songs.
Like, Picture Perfect, or World Around Me, Let It Go, etc, are all great because of their placement in their albums. They'd have been much less memorable if they were back to back with the exact same style of song, the way that Hate Me and I Am Human were.

I am human and digging my own grave are some of etf best songs ever written, just overall I don't care for the albums as a whole package.
Where chemical warfare imo just feels like a good complete package.
But that is just my opinion though I continued to support etf through the line up changes but I just feel those two album felt kinda flat compared to past work especially when they were following up ungrateful.

@@dbz_g0d432 they got thrown out for being difficult and letting the rest of the band down, being difficult with band members around that time. The band members now don't really like talking about them
@@dbz_g0d432 he flat refused to tour with the band outside of the US, leaving Craig uncomfortable when asked where he is (I asked Craig in person). Then had plenty of rumours about the band to make up, pretty sure the royalties bit song is aimed at ETF not Ronnie

@@lucasmafra8730 I mean I can’t talk for Bryan, but I think it might have been to do with when they had max in the band. I think Bryan wrote a lot of the songs first on guitar, and then the band would write around it. I would imagine Bryan been focus driven and someone coming into the band a-bit allover the place (Speculation here) might have caused conflict.

I swear to God no disrespect at all but I'd literally give up Falling in Reverse , modern day ETF and all the other bands just to have all you guys reform originally. @@metallicxx I all honesty I'm gonna state my opinion escape the Fate is still a good band but they have not been the same at all after ungrateful. The original lineup brought straight fire period. The old escape the Fate should have never broke up. Just saying my honest opinion. Not hating on any work anyone has done with any band. But seriously. ETF has changed too much. They had straight magic and fire before
@@richarddagostino9575 I agree with you. I like the TWIO lineup better than the DIYLF lineup though. Ronnie sounds better doing his own thing. If you listen to a podcast Michael was on recently i think he says something like problems with management made them leave. The fact is everyone who left has their own thing now and probably don't wanna give it up
@@metallicxx I respect it. But me personally as much as twio lineup was great. DIYLF is honestly one of the best albums ever created. When ETF came out they were different. They were just standing far from the rest. I miss that era of ETF more than anything
