This guy sitting down can sing better than most of the newer country singers.
Did you guys see who were all seated there ???
*COUNTRY MUSIC ROYALTY*
That ladies and gentlemen is what music really is. The man didnt even have to try. The song just rolled out of him. True talent. !!
Heartfelt music!
Lovely voice too. Just so smooth!
Love him and that song from day 1.
I love this song!
who else out there still listens to this.. I love this music.
I do!!!
The country women keep themselves looking so good and cared for.
That man had Roy Clark, Charlie pride, and moe bandy sitting around star eyed like a bunch of little kids.
Born in 84. I'm 35 today and I was raised on this older stuff and country just does not sound the same. Bring it back. Please for the love of christ! Bring it back!
These sort of songs take me back to warm summer days with freshly mowed lawns, picket fences, my dad working on a car in the driveway. Neighbor Ralph sipping a cold beer talking to my dad. The whole while somebody has a transistor radio playing some real authentic country music in the background. Then Mom hollers that supper is ready. You just don't know what you had until you don't have it anymore.
So nicely said .
that's pure vocals no computer needed..
Johnny Lee, gorgeous voice. And I could watch Urban Cowboy a million-billion times and never get tired of it🥰
Now that I've found a friend and a lover;
I bless the day that I discovered
you, oh you;
The great Johnny Lee can still sing his wonderful songs . One great country artist .
Oh man, the folks who are seen in this video! Johnny Lee, Little Jimmy Dickens, Jeannie Seely, Jim Ed Brown, Buck White, Sharon White, Cheryl White, Johnny Rodriguez, Roy Clark, Gene Watson, Crystal Gayle, Jan Howard, Ray Stevens, Charley Pride and others--all with the greatest county music host of all time, Bill Anderson!
RIP Daryl Singletary
The real country artist
I wanted more what a group of stars.
Whispering Bill Anderson
T.G. Sheppard
His wife looked at him like she just fell in love. Beautiful song ❤
Now son, THAT'S COUNTRY
I was able to get to know Johnny in 84. I was competing in the Decathlon in the Olympic track trials. My good friend let me stay with him by the beach in Manhattan Beach. Johnny was staying there too. We got along from the very beginning and I even gave him one of my Olympic jackets to wear on stage. He gave me the biggest belt buckle ever!!:). Great times and memories of a good friend and still my favorite country song and performer 👍😊
This is real country music !!
Thats the true country music. Of America
I saw him and Mickey Gilley last year in Branson, Missouri. The last show Mickey Gilley did. It was amazing!!
These guys are all bosses and they wrote the soundtrack to our lives
Well at least most of us who have a soul
wow Johnny lee still sound as good as he did back the 70's
This man surrounded by all that talent, had them loving this man. Jonny lee is a legend, I was loving the song to. He’s entertaining the entertainer’s what a voice, what a song, what a guy.
One of my all time favorites, Johnny can still rock it.
He can. My wife and I seen him live in Renfro Valley, Kentucky last June. He was the kindest fella he would just sit down and have a conversation with you like he knew you for years.
Saw him live about five times always great.
Country LEGENDS in one room
He can still sing! I am really surprised. Good job Johnny Lee!
Best song ever
Many legends in that crowd! No hip hop or Indy country there. Just good old country music, the way God intended. Good song by Johnny Lee.

Of the people in this video. Most I know but there are a few I can’t place. Johnny can still sing Better than most new artists can today. You go Johnny. Prayers for you and your health problems🙏🙏🙏 getting old isn’t easy.
The greatness in that room is just under Christ.
And there was Charlie Pride settin in the second row.. Talent galore.cheers
Urban Cowboy and this song fit together absolutely perfectly.
Lacy J. Dalton is there! Her sister was my aunt! Lacy was also my moms childhood babysitter. My mom can remember her playing her guitar on my Paps front porch 😊

What a classic song from a classic artist
When music was good and everyone loved country as much as rock
This guy was at the Lancaster ca fair early 90s
Wife ask him to sing one of my favorite you don't hear much on the radio. Rollin lonely. You killed it Johnny
Im am trying to hold back my tears
Finally at 27 I watched the entire movie of Urban Cowboy and I loved it! Beautiful story!
Its been a lonely road since childhood. Sumtimes you just need that special hug from anyone.
No matter how many times this gets uploaded I watch it. Johnny Lee was one of my biggest influences to start playing Country Music, still is. The whole Urban Cowboy Movement shaped and molded Country Music into something special.
Damn! He sang it sitting down and the man's voice didn't Crack or was out of tune. My family lived in Texas ( Port Arthur) for a little bit and then we moved to California but I was only 7 years old but there's something about Texas that is still in me, even though I grew up listening to Heavy Metal and Grunge but this song here just hits home, my wife and I listen to it all the time and it's our love song been married to her for 26 years and going strong 💪
It just rolls out of his mouth. True talent
Good song
This group represents true country. Love them all
The voice has not changed.
That's real country music, with a room full of the greatest showman ever
Mr. Johnny Lee, this the best song that came out of Urban Cowboy! Thank you and God bless!!
Dang! Sure miss all those people that are gone in this group. Gonna cherish those that are still here. Crystal Gayle! What can I say?!
Voice as smooth as Tennessee Whiskey.
This is a room full of just absolutely great country music and I mean real country music artists. The music being put out today is not even close.
No Frontiers for music no walls for love ❤️🥰❤️😍🌏I love country music I love America 🥰❤️😍🙏🌏🗽
Charlie Pride, I sure would love to meet that gentleman. 👵 I've played his music for years now. 💋👍
Johnny Lee is that man to me. Been playing his music for awhile now.
Love him and Johnny, but yes Charlie is on my bucket list!
There is a local guitar shop here. One of the men that's works there plays with Charlie Pride. I believe he said he was a nice man and he's still touring hundreds of days a year in his 80's. I think he said he still sounds the same too.
God blessed the day I discovered you! Love love love Jonny Lee ! It’s been a long time I can listen to a song without a hidden agenda!
TURN THAT UP!
This is just precious...

Look at all those talented voices in this one. Memories are made of their love of the music! Stars all of them!
If there was an anthem for the 80s, the cowboy craze and the two step, it would be this song.
I'm from the country of Indonesia; and yes I love country music. This one by Mr. Lee is certainly one of my faves
That room is full of talented goodness. Love just to be sitting in the background listening and appreciating.
One of my favorite county music songs of all time. I love how they all provided backup spontaneously.
