Can’t believe it’s been 10 years, since Earth’s mightiest heroes assembled for the very first time. Who would’ve thought that these six very different heroes who don’t really belong together, but come together for the common good, against a common threat and become one big family franchise. It’s been such a roller coaster ride from Avengers to Infinity War and to Endgame and it’s just so incredibly and phenomenally special. This film will always be my favorite of all-time and it will always have a special place in my heart. Love this movie 3000. A6 Forever!!!

Honestly the hype this trailer created will never be replicated. This was the very first time we had ever seen a movie like this. It had never been done before. It was done so masterfully and I will never get tired of seeing that group shot at the end

I remember seeing this trailer for the first time in the 8th grade. Now I'm graduated and I'm still in love with the MCU.
Everybody has 'that' trailer that makes them shit their pants from excitement and does more than live up to the hype in school. Mine was for Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King.
I was only in 2nd grade when I saw this after ckming home from school. Then the weekend came for me to watch this. Was literally amazed. Sadly, the last time I saw this was last year.

Up until the events of iron man he was definitely self obsessed and unaware of the things going on that he was indirectly a part of. Then in Age of Ultron he keeps making decisions without ever taking the whole team on board, because of his personal fears that he doesn't bother discussing, UNTIL he has indirectly created a murderous AI. Then in Civil War he was enforcing the accords because of his personal guilt.
He's a great guy, but his initial decsions have always stemmed from him being overwhelmed with fear, or guilt, and then everyone else has to deal with it too.
@@Mina-gk8jm hmmm true. Buuuuuuut I kinda agreed with him on the part of the accords. I didn’t trust the government or ross, but I always felt that the avengers weren’t 100% an effective team. I don’t think they should have let wanda on the field without her knowing the full extent of her power with adequat control of it. Yes she saved a lot of people but at the cost of 11. This in my view was avoidable.
The other avengers work well since they have no powers but have so much experience using their gear. Though Captain America is an exceptional leader, he needs to put more value in training and teamwork the way that cyclops does with his x-men.
When you join big league sport you don’t stop practicing. I thought the government could provide some form of tactical training. Because I somewhat agreed that the avengers could be loose cannons sometimes.

Honestly, no matter how many superhero crossovers we see in the future, no matter if future superhero movies are better, The Avengers will always be the legendary one because it was the first. I have no doubt that The Avengers 2 will be awesome and maybe even Batman VS. Superman will be good, who knows? But The Avengers is going to be the one no one will ever forget. It had a HUGE impact on superhero movies, pop culture, and Hollywood in a way that very few movies have had before.
Eh. X-Men is kind of what made superhero movies it's current popularity and started the standard for more. Avengers was way better than Days of Future Past but it sure gave it a run for its money by how awesome it was.
itheGuillen I don't know about that, I'd say Spider-man was what really gave superheroes their current popularity, with The Dark Knight giving it a bigger boost afterwards.

Which movie affected superhero movies for forever. And that would be The Avengers. Simply because the premise has never been done on such an epic scale before with such massive build-up. Spiderman did indeed introduce superhero movies to the 21st century but did any of the Spiderman movies cross the billion dollar mark? No. But Iron Man 3, which came out RIGHT after the Avengers, did cross the billion dollar mark. Thor: The Dark World and Cap 2 both did amazingly thanks to the Avengers. The Avengers even managed to boost up DC because you can BET that DC would not be racing to make a S vs. B or Justice League movie if the Avengers had never existed. You tell me which movie is more famous/legendary globally: the Avengers or Spiderman? It's the Avengers. And the Avengers was the first to have a HUGE impact on geek culture, nerd culture, pop culture, etc.

However, you'd be HARD-PRESSED to find a lot of people around the world who can't name the Avengers. The Avengers became a global name on a scale that no one has ever seen superhero movies do before. It's the third highest grossing movie in cinematic history. I'm not talking about if it was GOOD or not, I'm talking about it's legend status---which is officially cemented in my mind and in the minds of billions of other people, I'd say. 10th anniversary of this movie and it was glorious from beginning to end.
I prefer this over the other three Avengers movies(particularly over Infinity War and Endgame).

About a week ago, I was bored one night so I got caught up reading a bunch of movie reviews and shit to pass some free time, and I read somewhere that the Avengers movie made over $1 billion worldwide in ticket sales....making it the 3RD HIGHEST paid movie of the century. Now that's what I call success :p

Holy crap. The fact that this movie will be turning 8 years old is insane!!!!!!! All of the fans remember when this came out. Whether you were a Marvel fan or not, you remember when this came out and it was brand new! This movie was called the dream come true for a reason and it by far is still my favorite superhero movie.
