Yo this was my favorite song on We Want Eazy Album. This was the first album I ever bought. So many great memories during this time his album came out. Eazy E is sorely missed.
It was Eazy E that got me into hip hop back in the 90's, then 2pac came along...two great legends gone!

Bro it was 1988 I was 17 years old and high school had been into metal music my whole life and then I heard NWA and Eazy-E and this became literally my favorite song! Super suburban white nerdy kid playing this on my boom box! Now I'm 54 and still jam this. So glad you found this

I remember when NWA 1st came out. I was in 1st/2nd grade. The son of the lady my dad was dating was in junior high & he and his cousin had a bunch of rap albums. Then he pulled out the Eazy E cassette and said, "Man all they do is cuss." We played that all weekend. Monday when we got to school everyone was reciting lyrics to the songs I just heard. I'm like how they know the words already? 😯🤷🏽♂️

A lot of the younger people may not know the relevance to the last question of this song, "What's your real age?" That question comes from when Eazy E first came out he marketed his self as 15 years old because he was so short with a child like voice when he was actually in his mid 20's. And it worked for a long time. But the younger people also need to know that straight outta compton was their second album, they rarely ever mention the very first project called N.W.A. and the posse, which was a pretty cool album with cuts like, the original "Boyz n the hood" "A Bitch is a Bitch" and "Fat girl on my jock". It also featured the D.O.C.'s first song called " The toughest man alive" when he was with his original group, the Fila fresh crew. Just a little Ruthless history facts.
