Lord God,

and made the sun to serve their needs:
give us grace this day to work faithfully for your glory
and for our neighbours’ good.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
