Your guides are amazing, you teach blockstrings, important attributes of some moves, BNBs after the most common hit confirms and how to style with the character.
I think that the only one thing that's missing is post lvl 3 oki. Keep up the good work.

Usually these kind of guides help me learn a character I decided to play, but this is one that made me want to play that character in the first place.

Nice one! Maining Goku Blue for a while now, looking back on this is a nice refresher! Also, for anyone reading this, here’s a little trick to extend off of 2M mid screen.
2M, 5M, jMLL, jLL, jS, 214H (wait just until the part where Blueku teleports behind the opponent, if done correctly, the next part shall whiff). (Whiff) Vanish, microdash, and then your standard BnB combo (finish with jLLL, jLL214M is too scaled).

If anyone here is having trouble with the loops it is a diagonal up forward jump after the 2nd shoulder charge. not a straight jump up. Its been messing me up this whole time and i just NOW figured it out.

7:51 You can delay 5H and it becomes a little easier (for me anyway I struggled with delaying the S in the jMS into j236L. Hope I helped p: Good job on the video! Still learning at this very moment ^~^
5H always re-centers the opponent on hit to make the height consistent, so delaying it does nothing. But if it helps it helps
Tip: when doing loops press the jLL/jML part asap as a quick staccato. Might just be me but it definitely helps me.

Just wanna make a few notes or suggestions all in good sport and for the sake of education:
Note/advice 5:55 : You can jc the 5LLL in the corner, does slightly more dmg than SD and leaves you with SD if you wanna use it for any weird extension you might wanna do afterwards.
Note, another vanish confirm option that's harder but more damaging: micro dash 5L(whiff)L IAD jML land jc into air combo.
Note, another use for jS: Great great great reflect bait tool for oki. If they reflect you won't get pushed back since it's a ki blast and you can go straight into command grab to punish reflect mash. If they block it's +10/+14 depending on how low you hit it so you'll still get good frame data.
Addition, another advanced corner combo route: This is a route I figured out on my own that does more dmg than the standard.
2M5MjcjM236M land 5L(whiff)L TK236M land 5L -> into 2x loop. This route lets you do 1 more 236M in the combo while still getting 2 reps of the normal loop. Around 200 more dmg and a bit more meter build.
Correction regarding the lv5: It won't always switch sides, if you want same side lv5 just hold the super button AFTER the kick. You have plenty of time during the Kamehameha animation.

This video is fantastic. I am late to the game trying to get better to enjoy it more. This video was a huge help making sense of blue goku. Appreciate it. Going to study your trunks video soon and a base vegeta if you got it. Trying to make blue goku, base vegeta and trunks my main team. I like them because their moves are unique but not ridiculously cheap and the characters seem to take quite a bit of skill even just to be decent. Thanks again!

I really need to figure at least a few of these combos out. Goku Blue is probably my worst character at the moment, and I need to stop relying on a few short combos to do most of my damage.
I love how everyone is saying Blue goku is good now. To be honest He's always been that good since season 1, the only problem he had was his command garbs and assist. I played Android 21(the same thing goes for her but she didn't actually get good until season 2), goku blue and Vegeta.
That song makes this video greater than it really is!!!!
For the Vanish and 214H/236H confirms, i found it that delaying the 2M instead of doing a microdash also works, or at least it worked the couple times i tried (you might also have to slightly delay 5M, but i'm not sure about it).. And it felt way easier for me. So for anyone who has trouble getting the microdash 2M, i think you can just do that instead...
Keep in mind though, this is only the case for the 2M confirm, for anything else (Like the Vanish Confirm Side Switch, for example) you probably really DO need to use the microdash.

The low option for the j.214H mix should just be empty low 2L. If you airdash 2L you can fuzzy block the high low. Good vid nonetheless

Though, I wish I could understand more about the timings when delay especially in assist extension 1 wherein js-214L-(delay)-A2. My A2 is yamcha b and I can't time the DR to get sliding knockdown.

It's worth noting that the jML version of the loop does more damage than jLL, but it's less consistent and only comes into play in certain combos.
I don't feel like they're any less consistent than jLL. I did learn jML first though tbf. I don't see how you can't do jML in some combos though, in fact I couldn't get the first TOD to work with jLL loops.
@@TinyTorgue jML is less consistent as it's completely automatic, basically if you time it wrong you'll drop the combo because you have no room to adjust the timming. With jLL you can delay manualy to do the loop. You can do either version, in fact the jML does more damage in most combos, but it's not that big of a difference, it only really comes into play in solo TODs.

Idk about damage for anything non-combo, I don't think it's that important. As for frame data I don't want to clutter the screen too much and I'm sure most beginners won't even know what the frame data means. So I'll just say safe, unsafe and plus because that's the easiest and clearest way I can put it. Thank you for the suggestions though, I'll keep it in mind for future videos.
On SD Confirm you can just do jML > jcML2H > 214S and get 2370

You kind of get a feel for it, if the delay isnt noticeable in the video then its probably a slight delay. Obviously if the combo drops it's too much delay.
