  • Check out the Chauvet Gig Bar Move + ILS in action with HAZE!! It's been yeaaaarrrrs since we have been able to use Haze or Fog, but we were finally at a venue that allowed both! So we dusted off the Haze Machine box and brought it out! I honestly didn't even know if this thing was going to work! LOL!
    Thanks for watching!

    The last event with the gigbar move ils with no other lighting the client was so impressed with it, and to be honest so was I 😂😂 for simplicity and setting up & tearing down you can't beat it. Got a feeling with the mod you done inter chargeable heads are coming. No haze/smoke has been around in the UK since mid/late 90's. You got to jump on that ils command Danny it's a game changer for sure.

      Oh yeah for sure! I get compliments on the gig bar all of the time being it's an all in one system. But man, with the haze, it makes me love it even more.

    The movers are now 32W the previous versions were only 10W, it is a major upgrade.

    I’m in Rhode Island……cold sparks are absolutely NOT happening at all. Station night club still comes to everyone’s mind if they see anything like that in a venue.

      From New Bedford brother near Fall River that shit was tragic af,if them idiot's didn't use the cheap flammable sound deadening that shit would of never happened plus the assholes blocked that emergency exit ect.... that shit was crazy R.I.P. to all those poor people.

    Nice video Danny and I agree, haze is a must for lighting. At that venue a second gig bar + ILS or maybe a couple of 160 ils movers on totems would have been better. The major problem that I saw was that the house lighting was way to bright and was overpowering everything but the movers (the Gig Bar + ILS movers are 32 watts by the way, while the older lower end Gig Bar ILS movers are only 10 watts).
    I'm not a DJ, I'm a KJ (Karaoke), they are two different animals with different requirements. I've tried movers for Karaoke but they just don't quite work. What does work however is the GigBar 2. My setup for one of my gigs is a Slimpar Pro W to light the singer (small venue that's dark and lit for DJ's (most seem to like to hide in the dark...LOL) but not for singers on stage (this stage needs some front lighting as the house lighting has them back lit, again DJ lighting not singer lighting)). GigBar 2 on the front of the stage and the hazer is an Antari Z390. I don't use the blinders and the haze while it doesn't seem to do much for the pars, it does make the Kintas and the Laser just Pop without overpowering. The pars and the kintas are aimed in front of the stage on what is a small dance floor and depending on the crowd and the night we actually have a few dancers most nights. (my lighting for this venue is all wireless DMX) Lets face it, with both lighting and sound, what works in one venue doesn't mean it will work in the next one, every venue's different.
    Best advice for any DJ or KJ is to check out the venue in advance. Find out where you can load in and out, where you're going to be, what you can and can't do regarding haze or fog. And most important POWER!!! Find out if everything's on the same circuit or different circuits so you don't trip breakers, plus which outlets are actually hot. You can have the best show in the world but it won't do you a bit of good if there isn't enough power to run your sound and light gear. It may take you an extra day of prep but it'll save you tons of headaches in the long run!!

      Great, Great Info Karen and I agree with it all! Power is a must check for sure! Man, the Kintas, those are the OG’s for us DJ’s. I owned so many of those in the past amd loooooooooved them!!! Especially with fog and haze!! Thanks again for watching and the input!

    Haze has been my go to for years .. I only use fog, especially low laying fog for very specific events, like Halloween and first dance effect.

      I completely agree.. I only had one in Louisiana that didn't let me use but luckily they were cool when I explain it was water based not oil, like it use to be. Now that I'm Houston I've only used when I know I have the OK.@@djdannybhtx

    What setting are you using on the gig bar for this video it looks awesome I haven’t found a setting to stick to on my gigbar

    • @djdannybhtx
      @djdannybhtx  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I use the "Movement" button, but keep pressing it until both moving heads do opposite movements. Then I select the speed button and dial it in to just the right amount of movement and blinking that I like :) Hope that helps. Oh, and I also turn off the white strobes all of the time. Once you set it, the gigbar will remember it.
