Very cool lands deck. I've also been working on a unique landfall deck- a spellslinger/ramp hybrid using Omnath as the commander. Like you said, omnath is a prime counterspell target, but i have X-damage spells and spellslinger payoffs in the 99 as backup wincons.
I’m currently working on a deck with this commander- I was going to do Ruric Thar but I had more lands matter pieces so we are using this commander- in my play tests I either am going off or I’m getting screwed on card draw and have ran out of gas 3 out of 5 play test games so far.

Green does lack some cantrips but can have big bursts of card draw! Play cards like life’s legacy and greater good! Best of luck deck building
