'Doing well': Prince William gives major update on Princess Catherine’s health

- Prince William has given an update on Princess Catherine’s health when asked how his wife and their children were, during the opening of a charity centre in England.
The Prince of Wales told well-wishers his wife was “doing well” amid her ongoing cancer treatment.
ITV News Royal Editor Chris Ship has joined Sky News host Danica De Giorgio to discuss the latest on the Royal Family.
“Of course, every time Prince William does a public visit now people are listening really carefully to see what he says about Kate,” Mr Ship said.
“He’s told us that she’s doing well, but of course, we haven’t seen her since that video that she released before easter when she broke the news that she not only had cancer but she was having what she called preventive chemotherapy.”

It is the respect of calling her by her given name which is Catherine, especially as she asked some time ago that people not call her Kate which I was referring to. That is basic common etiquette and is respect that should be afforded to everyone regardless of whether they are Royal or not to use a persons given name. Nicknames should only be used when permission has been given - again regardless of whether the person is Royal or not.
