Did anyone else ever wonder why Ms Frizzle drove the bus? She's their teacher, not a bus driver, is she licensed? Is the school board aware of what happens on their field trips? They got a law suit on their hands
She's actually the bus driver. After getting an undergraduate in science and a teaching license she wasn't able to get a job in her field, so she resorted to being a bus driver. In a state of depression she became a drug addict and constantly stayed high. The group were the only students that she could persuade to get high with her, so they would stay after school and meet her in one of the classrooms. They would then get high and she would teach them about science and shit.
