A Formula 1 Styled '32 Ford?? Honda S2000 Powered Beck Kustoms F132

  • You may not immediately recognize the name "Aaron Beck", but if you're on the Internet and into cars - you've probably seen his renderings. One of the more famous ones being his Formula 1 styled '32 Ford - powered by none other than a F20c from a Honda S2000. When it launched, he called it the "F132", and it absolutely took off - so much so, that someone took it upon themselves to build one in real life. After a few ownership changes, Larry found it in Miami for a few updates on where it's at now.

    • @jeepsterdaddy37
      @jeepsterdaddy37 Před 4 lety +8

      @@modelnutty6503 I was thinking the same. You can easily see the reason it doesn't handle properly when when you look at it from the front. The control arms should be as parallel to each other and strait at ride height. Looks like it was engineered for a lot shorter wheel and tire combo. If they were a few inches shorter, the front end would almost be on the ground so once it had a little taller set of coilovers put in to level the front out again, the arms would be level or a lot closer. I bet it has crazy bump steer.

    • @nickkerr5714
      @nickkerr5714 Před 2 lety

      Yeah he needs to at least raise the wheel-side tie ride mounts so the steering arms are parallel to the control arms. That by itself would help the handling a lot

      Who ever built this just built it to look cool. They seemingly knew nothing about suspension design. After finding out their creation drove like a turd they easily found a collection of fools who would line up to buy it. Here you go and this is easy, just build this on a kit cobra frame. Super simple and the suspension would then work. Cobra kit sellers sell all parts so if you just wanted the frame, no problem they will sell it to you. Find a cobra kit with independent front and rear suspension. Buy a fiberglass 30 ford body, put the two together and boom. Another option, find a pre-made front cross member with a mustang II suspension. That suspension has been used on everything from race cars to cobra kits etc. Cross member kits are made for street rods and are easy to find. I would use a Honda front wheel drive setup mounted in the rear. Motor in rear solves so many problems. Just like an areal atom. Like I said, this car is just so wrong. Thrown together & just so poorly engineered. Car needs to be torn apart and rebuilt by some one who knows what he is doing & gives a shit.

    In Europe the police would pull you from the road in minutes. No way you could get this certified road legal. Looks awesome, personally would have liked the Marlboro livery on it.

    Seen this build a while back on Instagram. Aaron should put a supercharger on it. 400whp would handle those tires and still keep that N/A sound.

      @FuLLeFFekT1 would still hear the motor over a turbo though

    A rotary engine would have been a great option too with that high pitch rev sound.

    You can get that suspension fixed. Raise the inner lower control arm pickups. Lower the outer with longer ball joints. Get them level to the ground-ish.

    Europe: You can't put turbo in your car, it won't be road legal if you modify it.
    America: *inspects F132* - This is fine.

    The running shots are epic. The car is sharp, the background is blurry, looks like the car is doing crazy speed. How do you do that? Is it all in the edit?
