99% of the time I can’t tell any difference between unmagnetized and when you do the velvet style. But I could totally tell with these polishes! That was amazing! 😍

Azure has a lot of good nail products. Never been disappointed by any. As for hiccups, ever tried a small amount of sugar? Sugar some how relaxes the muscle that causes hiccups. It’s always worked for me when they wouldn’t go away by themselves.

I love the magnetic ones that have a jelly look when you do the cat eye. Wow on all of these and the value. I feel the same about Hiccups. The latest thing I found that has worked...take a big drink, turn up upside down and swallow.
The only thing that has ever worked for my hiccoughs (and I have also tried everything) is a teaspoon of Peanut butter. I think - and this is only my opinion - that there is something in the peanut oil that relaxes the diaphragm. Someone at work told me this...going on 20 years now. While I sure don't need any more polish (and I've even destashed some of the colors shown in these two sets!), my grandma will sure appreciate them as a gift! Side note: I'm also a fan of propylene glycol! It's used to de-ice plane wings because it changes the freezing point of water! Therefore, the water turns from ice back to liquid again since it isn't cold enough in the ambient temp anymore to keep it in ice state. I was good enough at chem (high school + uni) to understand the basics of jargon used to describe a molecule and its effects so I like looking up every ingredient in an ingredient list to see what they do. I'm a huuuuuge nerd.

Both OPI (by accident I think) and Cirque have some jellies with bright silver magnetics I totally love. I can’t wait to try these as they look similar!

The formula on these remind me of a mix between cirque and Morgan Taylor, what are your thoughts? Also, the jelly polishes lean a little crelly in their opacity. Great polishes for building a collection❤😊
Thanks for the review. It's so good to see that there are good and cheap options on amazon! Especially in an era where it's healthy to be sceptical of anything cheap. I also hate hiccups and learnt about them. So they're caused by a twitch in the diaphragm. I learnt breathig techniques to relax that muscle and get rid of them quite quickly. Works for me 99% of the time and only suffer two or three hiccups each time.

Great video, still waiting for an LA Colors swatch vid. I get hiccups when I drink. I can usually get rid of them if I hold my breath for 30 seconds, but it doesn't always work.
For hiccups, I find taking a few deep breaths usually stops it. It calms the diaphragm down, which is the cause of hiccups. For the polishes, I am going to have to look up this brand! Good value for what you get.
17:20 with hiccups put your fingers under your ribcage and lightly massage/ wiggle your fingers to relax your diaphragm. I have EDS and that is the only trick that helps me.
Love these types of videos. Maybe in the future, as it seems magnetics are here to stay. Trying out some of those different shapes magnets. I know right now the horseshoe aura one is great. But would love to see how the spirals, flowers etc… work.
Ooh I did try out a few magnet shapes in my magnet nail polish 101 video but I haven't seen anything aside from the abstract patterns! I'll keep an eye out!
Those colors aren’t something I wear frequently but the quality looks great especially for the price. It looks like a good idea especially for beginners where they can get some practice without spending much.

Honestly I can't be sure haha! I really did try to wear them for testing, but the idea of wearing the same color for more than 3 days just makes me feel uncomfortable (which I know is so silly LOL! I just have so many colors I want to wear!)

I also hate having the hiccups! I know if I get them once, even if I get rid of them, I'll get them 2 or 3 more times that same day. I instantly get a headache and nausea. Plus, I never get them from eating or drinking too fast, so I feel like I can't prevent them. I get them in the shower, or getting into bed. 😭😭😭😭
Hiccup cure, I will die on this hill! Eat a big spoonful of peanut butter in one bite. It takes your mind off the hiccups because it's hard to manage a giant mouthful of peanut butter.
OK, I have the only solution for hiccups. Pour a glass of water, then Nad down as if touching your toes and drink from the back side of the glass, a couple of gulps will do!....everytime, I declare😅😊😊
Hey Kelly, to get rid of your hiccups, take a teaspoon of sugar. It works 100%of the time. Also, my coworker self- concluded that they occur when eating carbs too quickly! My hiccups are painful, so I would change the way I speak! 😊

Hey, great question! These are just regular polish so they don't need a lamp, they just dry by air over time 😁 an easy way to tell is, if the polish comes in a clear bottle, then you know it doesn't need a lamp (whereas if it's in an opaque bottle, it usually requires a lamp to cure!)
Are these gel or regular polish? Usually kits are for gel polish. Also, not interested until there's blues and greens on offer (which they won't do cause they don't sell as well, and why I got into indie polish).
This is regular polish that dries by air! An easy way to tell is if the bottle is clear, that means it's regular polish (since gel can't be in a clear bottle!)
When I get the hiccups, I try to concentrate on when my body wants me to inhale, and when I find it, I try to make my breathing very regular (in for two seconds, out for two seconds). Sometimes it works! (Not always.)(And you won't remember this!) 🙃
I get violent hiccups. They HURT. The only thing I’ve found to work is to put water in my mouth, bend over so my head is basically between my knees and swallow. Nothing else works.

I also hate having the hiccups! I know if I get them once, even if I get rid of them, I'll get them 2 or 3 more times that same day. I instantly get a headache and nausea. Plus, I never get them from eating or drinking too fast, so I feel like I can't prevent them. I get them in the shower, or getting into bed. 😭😭😭😭

Eat a big spoonful of peanut butter in one bite. It takes your mind off the hiccups because it's hard to manage a giant mouthful of peanut butter.
OK, I have the only solution for hiccups. Pour a glass of water, then Nad down as if touching your toes and drink from the back side of the glass, a couple of gulps will do!....everytime, I declare😅😊😊

Hey Kelly, to get rid of your hiccups, take a teaspoon of sugar. It works 100%of the time. Also, my coworker self- concluded that they occur when eating carbs too quickly! My hiccups are painful, so I would change the way I speak! 😊

Hey, great question! These are just regular polish so they don't need a lamp, they just dry by air over time 😁 an easy way to tell is, if the polish comes in a clear bottle, then you know it doesn't need a lamp (whereas if it's in an opaque bottle, it usually requires a lamp to cure!)

Are these gel or regular polish? Usually kits are for gel polish. Also, not interested until there's blues and greens on offer (which they won't do cause they don't sell as well, and why I got into indie polish).
Regular polish
This is regular polish that dries by air! An easy way to tell is if the bottle is clear, that means it's regular polish (since gel can't be in a clear bottle!)
Some expensive brands are horrible and some cheap brands are so nice. I find most brands are inconsistent though. It's all hit or miss.

When I get the hiccups, I try to concentrate on when my body wants me to inhale, and when I find it, I try to make my breathing very regular (in for two seconds, out for two seconds). Sometimes it works! (Not always.)(And you won't remember this!) 🙃
Haha I do try to do concentration breathing but sometimes those evil hiccups just won't go away 🤣

I get violent hiccups. They HURT. The only thing I’ve found to work is to put water in my mouth, bend over so my head is basically between my knees and swallow. Nothing else works.
