2JZ Powered BMW E36 Shooting Flames On The Dyno

  • Various dyno runs of a BMW E36 sedan, powered by the infamous 2JZ turbo engine. The car makes 585wkw at 1.8 bar boost, but for this video the boost was turned down to only 0.6 bar - however it still made over 300wkw.

    Love the jz i have the 2j ....im always afraid that the straps will burnup on the dyno....thought's.?

      At 1.8 bar boost it's 585kw, so that's roughly over 780hp to the wheels. Traction is obviously an issue...

      Have to buy the 2JZ first...which will set you back maybe 60 - 80k ZAR. Then whatever car you prefer. Build cost will obviously vary
