First, money lending is not worth the risk, especially in this environment. We tried it and though we didn't get destroyed, we probably didn't break even either. We were offering lower interest than the Mumbai and I frankly find it hard to see how they make money in the long term either. Second is getting involved in land deals and making money off the money that you might provide to others seeking to transfer the title of their lands to TCT. This is very doable, but you need lots of patience and more than a little knowledge of the people involved to avoid being screwed. Best idea for a business is getting involved in wholesaling something, and selling thru an established network through your local city market. Something with lots of demand, say for example, coconuts, rice, etc.
