We’ll, You look very nice with all those short skirts and shorts but Iam 5’4” and weight 105 so give us skirts and dresses that some of your subscribers can wear like myself. You know I work at Chicos and we do have some “Alfred Dunn” (yuck) looking items.. however, when someone comes in and there are several who are clueless on styling themselves, I always try to lead them and have them try on more trendy items that make them look slimmer and fit their shape better. We do have some really cute clothes! And they look so much better on the body than on a hanger or in a picture. The quality on most items is amazing and fits the body so well!

Totally agree about long dresses. I’m 5 feet and every long dress I’ve ever tried on looks like a bag. It’s just too much fabric. They all look so awful I don’t even try them on any more.

Hi Serena, I just love those white jeans! The white sheer blouse with appliqué all over was so beautiful! I hate the bum bag didn’t work out. I need something like that for this summer. That’s a pretty midi dress in blue and white stripe. I understand that it you didn’t like it so much for yourself. I like dresses that hit right at top of the knee too. And I wanted to say that I got the footbed sandals from Walmart. Wow. When I first tried them on, “Where have you been all my life?” came to mind.
I’m only 4’10” and I don’t wear dresses either. I like separates more too!

DITTO!!! Same problem girl: Very rarely wear a dress. To get dress to fit the C cups, the waist is way too big. Prefer skirts and tops cause I can buy different sizes tops and bottoms. Was a tennis player for decades so fell in love with skorts long ago. I don't even own a "skirt" but lots of skorts.
I’m 57 and have recently started shopping at Chicos. The denim and the Zenergy line are great. I wish they would stop the bracelet length sleeves and all the embellishments. I personally enjoy that you featured some Chicos items and I’m going to try the shoes! Thanks

I agree re the challenge about dresses... I'm 5'2, big busted and size 10 petite. It's hard to find right style dress just above the knee. Your videos inspire & get me thinking. I'd love to meet you if you're coming to Disneyland soon. I go 1-2x per week. 😊

Hi Serena!! I have to tell you that I have grown to love your videos more and more!! I love your style and your content! I would love to see your pack with me video for Disney!! I am 57 yrs old, 5'3", 135-140 lbs with a short torso and larger bust. Trying to find clothing that fits is a nightmare...lol. I have resigned to buying only petite tops and dresses but it is very limiting! :( You always look so amazing! I think I may just start copying everything you wear😂!! Thanks for sharing!!❤

I don’t like my newfound crepey skin on my arms, but I am most definitely still wearing and plan to continue to wear sleeveless shirts during the summer. It’s too hot and humid here to do otherwise! It’s a part of life and aging. I will dedicate more time in working out my arms but I’m unsure there’s anything we can do about crepey skin- have found none of the products, nor collagen to help stop or reverse it! I’m what I “feel” on the inside and I feel pretty 😊 good!

Great video !!! Love the outfits!! Dresses to me are easier to me in petite sizing. I am proportioned different though. Long waisted and shorter legs with small to average bust . Draper James xs in regular in long sundress is my favorite dress in my closet & it hangs beautifully , which is due to lining . Wrap dresses and fit and flare are my favorite at knee length. I only wear dresses to church or special occasions other than sundresses. I understand your problem though. We all have fit issues and being petite is challenging. At least you don’t have my foot size - be thankful for that!!!

I found a pullover crochet white top very similar to your button up. I have worn it over the top of sleeveless dresses,with jeans like you, it adds that perfect top layer for anything.
I am with you on dresses! Non-frumpy flattering dresses are so hard to find! I am very particular and the styles now are full of ruffles and tiers and they are just not flattering on a petite frame. I also have a larger bust and many of them tend to “tent” out and look very frumpy and have a “Little House on the Prairie” look! When I do wear a dress, it will be above the knee and have a streamlined or straight silhouette. Many A-line styles do not work for me and end up having too much fabric on the bottom making me look larger than I am. It’s a struggle!
I own one dress! I do not like dresses in myself either! I’m built like you except I have shorter legs and I just feel like I don’t look good in them at all.. I also do t wear shorts that often! lol!

You showed a lot of beautiful items. I too am liking Chicos more ( I am 50) and especially like the coral shirt and that white button up with appliqué. The Jcrew dress is pretty and looked great on you. I recently got a blue and white striped dress from Walmart and I think I will take your tip of adding a belt; I really like the way you styled yours.

Hi, great video. A comment on the blue/white sleeveless midi dress: I am also petite (5ft2in) busty, but broad shouldered and recently had the same situation with too large armholes on a dress I tried on. Why are manufacturer's doing that? Yes, same problem--bra showed. I agree , being short, although I am not high waisted so to speak, it is hard to find a decent dress that is not oversized and makes me look frumpy. Sometimes they can be tight up top too.
I think the bug arm holes is an issue because of our height. I have the same issue with sleeveless or cap-sleeve tops.

Thank you for this video Serena! I live this outfits! You’re going to have to take up the armholes a bit to eliminate that extra fabric sticking out. Shorter dresses and skirts look better on shorter ladies. My mother is 5’2”so I’ve seen it and I’ve heard the rants on having to hem everything.

I love all the outifts....they all look great on you. I especially love the first pair of white denim cropped flare jeans. Last year I bought a pair of white denim shorts and discovered wearing white on white and it was my favourite look. I am looking foward to wearing my white on white outfits again this summer. I need to replace my very old white jeans with a newer modern pair. I'm going to try on some crop flares like yours and see how I like them. They look super cute on you! I think my favourite outfit is the first one with the denim shorts.
I often have the same issue as you with the big arm holes on tanks and dresses being a 34DD.
I love Chico’s linen. It is softer than some other brands I’ve tried. Always hard to pick a favorite from your outfits. You look really good in almost everything if it fits properly. Thank you for all the work you put into your videos.

I loved all the outfits. Especially liked eyelet blouses and white jeans. The shoes from Walmart are cute and great prices. Didn’t like long dress…cute but the arm cuts were not right but liked the length, belt and shoes. Return Amazon crossover purse…not seen good.
