In this video I make an abstract painting on a 80x80cm canvas.
A lot of different techniques and layers to get the final result which allows to have a lot of new ideas. I also used a lot of masking tape.

I absolutely love the new camera work and everything. I just adore when artists that I found forever ago get all the cool new stuff. Makes me feel like people can finally see the artist at work through the same eyes I've had for their work.

Love to watch your videos. There’s so many layers on the canvas to peel them back in your mind and put them back down to interpret how the painting makes you feel. Hey John, I stumbled across your videos about 3 months ago and your videos inspired me to finally try something I have been scared off for many years; put the digital pen down and try actual physical paint on canvas. Obviously I am not creating amazing works of art like you but for me that's not the point. The headspace I get into when creating is something so special and I am so thankful to now have this in my life. Thank you so much , you are such a creative inspiration!

I've been watching your videos for a while, and I like everything I've seen. They're all good, but if I had to pick a favorite piece, I absolutely love "inula". I think I like it so much because the splash of color in the middle of that particular background color just seems perfect to me. Thanks for the inspiration..
