I have more respect for a guy like Punk who steps into the ring knowing he is going to get his ass kicked but does it anyway because it's his life goal than fighters who are at the top but make excuses not to fight because they could lose. Any pussy at the top of their sport who avoids challenges is a pussy, Mayweather did it against Pacquiao for 5 years, Mayweather knew it was an even fight and that he could lose his spot as one of the all time greats, he only took the fight when Pacquiao was well past his prime. I respect Mayweathers boxing skill and think he is the greatest of all time, I also think he is a pussy hole who should be ashamed of the way he got to be #1 of all time, he did it through being truly great at what he does but also by avoiding fights that he could lose.

Dana White offered Kurt 1-2 years prep to fight in the UFC many years ago, but Kurt refused. Pride offered Goldberg to fight in the organization, when Goldberg stated he wanted to prove he was a legitimate fighter and not just a character, well he turned that down. A couple years back Goldberg stated he won't compete in MMA, due to his age.
C.M. Punk a person with no real athletic and martial arts background, 37 years of age, no MMA experience and fights in the biggest MMA org. was willing to do it. This indicates the difference in mindset or who just had the balls to do something, instead of talk about it.

Thats still impressive. He also went through the fight before the fight which is training, dieting and cutting the weight. Probably the first time in his adult life he got down to 170. He weighs around 220 in the WWE. I laugh when people say I can do that for 500k...LOL majority of us in the comments wouldnt even make it through camp including me. And Im in good shape.

He is still wrong about the WWE guys in general. There are 2 types of WWE guys, there are people who were legit in other sports like amateur wrestling and shit and there are the people like Punk who have no training in combat sports. Rusev for instance has a pretty extensive background in muay thai, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Kurt Angle, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Hass...etc all have amateur wrestling backgrounds. If any one of the people with real combat training went in and learned the striking game well enough they would be decent in the UFC similar to Brock, most of the people I listed though are way too old for it but still the point stands they would have the background to handle it.

Not even close lol, all it shows is the stark constrast between fiction and reality. While I am both a wrestling and CM Punk fan, its a no brainer that WWE is scripted and rehearsedby professionals acting for the 'entertainment' of the masses (hence the name WWE.) Because of this reason, actors have no business engaging in real activities occupied by professionals in their field. Punk is an pro wrestler (actor) with not a shred of real fighting experience beforehand who stepped in a cage with one of the lowest tier'ed fighters the MMA could offer him in order to make things 'fair'. Even with such a handicap in facing a rookie UFC fighter, Punk gotten absolutely demolished. It speaks volumes about the difference in skill, separating the Men from the boys, and is legit proof of a trained individual being able to beat any untrained person with laughable ease. Mickey Gall and Mike Jackson would probably fold you just as bad as they did Punk, if not far worse, lmao. This isnt a matter of being a 'tough guy' but having the skills to cut it. Obviously CM Punk (and any other pro wrestler without any prior fighting experience) has no business setting foot in the octagon in the first place, but CM Punk did it anyways, so respect for him.
