Comparison is the thief of happiness, this needs to stop not every game needs to be like Sony games.
Let me ask this, when did we all of a sudden decide that third person was more immersive than first person?
First person is definitely more emersive for me at least it makes impacts more visceral and combat more personal in third person you don't care as much about getting shot.... or hit.. or failing a block... in first person every impact from you or the enemy is felt... it's not just a health bar and animation it's your screen flashing red and shaking the way your camera tilts... the headbob and screen shake when an explosion happens etc...

Xbox and Phil specially, has gotten burned so damn hard by studios giving him release dates... even from God Howard with the whole, "Star Field is 11-11-22 written in pen".
To me, it has been obvious that Star Field's release date put so much backlash on him directly. Yes the pandemic was a legitimate reason for delays, but there are just a lot of variables to getting games out on a specific date.
So until games are for sure less than 6 months away, I would expect Xbox to only give us release windows going forward. It is just something that the fans are gonna need to get used to.
With the amount of big blockbuster AAA games coming out every year, that seeing as they don't want to cannibalize the game sales of their own games by putting the too close to each other or next to other big games like Dragons Dogma this year. Remembering that Call Of Duty is an Xbox 1st party game too, so they gotta actually look at the release dates more strategically than they used to.
Facts
Add too this the rampant media bias against Xbox and in favor of Playstation as well as the ridiculous entitled paid for shills on CZcams and you got a pretty powerful mind share that can bash anything Xbox or Microsoft dose no matter how good it is... it's all connected trust me
The Order 1886 was 5hrs long and Sony charged full price.
It also had a terrible third person cover system added last minute that made combat much harder because the third person cover aiming was broken...
Also they are the ones making it , they don't need to check in with the gaming community for every decision that they make its entitlement and that shit needs to stop.
Honestly, I think all games shown are finished. I'm thinking about February, March, and April. They can drop a new game damn near every month. I think they're holding back until the rest of this FTC crap is finished.....

If Indiana Jones HAD to be 3rd person for you... well guess what?! You don't even have to wait for Indiana Jones to drop! The 3rd person Indiana Jones game has been out with multiple sequels... It's called UNCHARTED.
Uncharted is literally based off of INDIANA JONES.
That is not just a guess, that is 100% what the game is. Sony would have made a straight Indiana Jones game if they did not have to pay for the license.
Tomb Raider.... Just the name alone sounds like a damn Indian Jones movie title haha. "Indiana Jones: Tomb Raider" haha
Tomb Raider is 100% based after the original Indiana Jones movies and that has always been very obvious.
This new Indiana Jones game, to be a stand out blockbuster game, needed to not just be the Xbox Uncharted game. After seeing the game play, they did such a good job with the 1st person perspective. And personally I am extremely happy that we did not get an Uncharted clone... I have played all of them, and they are EASY AS FUCK. I don't want anymore games that di the shooting like GTA% or the Uncharted games do.... with the auto lock on BS. You can get cover, and just aim then instantly shoot. Knowing you will be locked on to the closest enemy.
I have enjoyed the Uncharted games, they are too damn easy... kinda makes me think, no wonder Ponies think they are some of the best PS games... they are one step away from action movie walking simulators LoL.
Let them talk shit, I also could not believe just how many DUMB POS's actually were commenting, "Will this game be coming to PS+" in the live chat.
If I could have replied to them directly... I woulda broke their hearts and clued them in that Xbox actually paid millions to get the contract re-written with Disney to make the game be an Xbox exclusive. The FTC court case gave us that info, as well as that this Indiana game is actually just the first game in a trilogy.
