    Is there a possibility you could upload a real time video of you drawing a portrait? It would be amazing to learn while drawing along side you, awesome video as always.

    You get an amazing likeness! thanks for sharing. Would really like to get you talking about your 'block in' method.

    I'm very impressed by your block in/mass in phase in the beginnings of your drawings. Could you do a video or post what your thought process is in the very first part of your drawings. I notice that you rarely ever have to move things around and the proportions always come out right.

    • @kisoochai
      @kisoochai  Před 2 lety

      Thank you. If I was realism artist, I would have chosen to complete it a little bit after finding a more accurate form. But I prefer a little expressionist to realism, so I leave the rough strocke.
      I paint like a sculptor; first I distinguish a large stone by proportion and draw (or carve) only each larger position than the detail.
      The proportion is very important. if your nose is short or your eyes are half your face like an animated character, you can not make a good picture no matter how well you describe it.
      So if you're careful when you find a big proportion, a little teatail is not a problem.🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    What a great drawing! Do you use measurement for the proportions?

    • @kisoochai
      @kisoochai  Před 2 lety

      When you look at the process of first taking shape in the video, you can see the long line to find shape and proportion.🤔😊

    Should you always start with a circle? Thanks.

    • @kisoochai
      @kisoochai  Před 2 lety

      I sometimes draw right without using a circle, but if I draw a circle, I can set a roughly size.
