  • Today I want to talk about sleep paralysis, and more specifically: How to induce sleep paralysis. So while most people will be trying to avoid sleep paralysis, there are times that it can be beneficial, like when inducing lucid dreams or trying to have out of body experiences. So in this video I'll show you how to enter sleep paralysis of your own accord.

Very simple to induce sleep paralysis.
    - go to sleep
    - wake up (be aware you are awake) but dont move, dont open your eyes, in less than a minute you will get into sleep paralysis.

Right, this little kid who thinks he's cool faking sleep paralysis. You do not see a "demon" floating over you, you usually lucid dream and do not remember the experience but have fuzzy bits of memory about it. The middle of the day does let you experience sleep paralysis easier as it can be activated by changing your sleep cycle. This will help you wake up during REM sleep, during this your brain still thinks you are awake and projects images due to the brain being confused and thinking it's time to dream. Do not just jump to conclusions of "demons" appearing, the brain projects anything from a random shape to a person you saw shopping this is all to do with your personality and emotions when experiencing the paralysis, do your research folks

    • @johnried3453
      @johnried3453 Před 4 lety +1

@Asian Aedan Lucid dreaming is a dream that you forget, that's all it is. Taking that into account, think about what I said, sleep paralysis is a state of sleep where the mind dreams whilst being awake, therefore removing the ability to move. Just because you are awake during these hallucinations does not mean you are not Lucid dreaming. Hallucinations and sleep paralysis are different in subtle ways, and I do see where you are coming from. But sleep paralysis being a hallucination is a misconception, keep in mind REM sleep is when sleep paralysis takes place. The process takes place during a stage of sleep, Lucid dreaming is a stage of sleep where most victims forget completely, and only some retain some memory. This is the reason why most cannot describe these "demons" that they see and why our minds label them as such. The line between stages of sleep and stages of consciousness is very short, this can lead to misinformation or confusion. In short it IS a state of dreaming, therefore it is typically depicted and labelled as a Lucid dream.

I can enter sleep paralysis on purpose very easily and very quickly. Since I'm not supposed to go back to sleep or take naps in my household because it's bad for you, whenever I sleep on the couch I'm listening for my dad's footsteps. I'm making sure he doesn't catch me sleeping out on the couch, which keeps me in a sort of half-awake state. Then, you stay still and continue to fade out of consciousness while still listening for my dad. When I'm right about to fall all the way out of consciousness, I wake up. But I can't move. About 10 mins ago I timed myself for how fast I could get in and out, around 3 mins. 2 mins 30 secs to get in if I had to guess.

I *completely* relax my body, and essentially, try to meditate. If that doesn't work, I just lie there, trying to actively think for hours until I fall asleep without realizing it.
What am I doing wrong? My body isn't tense and I am still. I am able to calm the urge to roll over and scratch any itches.

Sometimes it's ok, but all in all, SP is the most terrifying shit I've ever experienced on this planet. Why are trying to lucid dream when you can just Astral Project? Lucid dreaming is cool but it's getting boring. I've been Astral projecting lately and it's AMAZING! it blows lucid dreaming away! Next time you meditate, listen to astral projection meditation music. 432HZ is more for straight meditating, AP meditation music is more intense, more sinister. While listening, focus on on a particular note and zone out. AP meditation music is deep VIBRATION, and as you listen to it, your body tends to vibrate. Just let go and let the music run through you (pause). Your going to feel a "shaking/vibrating sensation in your head, then your going to feel it throughout your entire body, them your body is going to lock up. It's not SP, and it actually feels amazing! I guess the vibration itself, coupled with the fact that not too many ppl can do it, and you know it's something Spiritual, is what makes it feel better. Last night I hit it PERFECTLY! When I started vibrating I was smiling, but I failed to project last night. I'm like 2 for 14 in Astral projecting. To project, you have to pulo your astral body out of your physical body DURING the vibration stage. As your pulling yourself out, your going to see a HUGE ball of white light, and when your almost fully out, you'll hear a Pop. It's the greatest thing I've ever experienced!!

I got sleep paralysis by doing just that actually. I was following Tipharot's tips for lucid dreaming. I meditated for 20 minutes, and then fell asleep chanting in my head about how i was going to notice falling asleep. I woke up 2 hours later, checked the time, and went back asleep chanting in my head and then it hit me. I noticed my body slump and become immobile. I noticed it was happening and immediately screamed myself awake because i was afraid of what would happen next.

I don't know why anyone would want to induce this. The experiences I have had since my late twenties to present time with it have been horrible. It's like being awake but totally paralyzed through your worst nightmare. I once thought my daughter was standing in my doorway laughing in a deep scary voice, all the while I was screaming for her to help me. She actually was sitting on the sofa watching TV, I had dozed off on the recliner. She said all I was doing was making strange sounds and flailing around in my sleep. She figured I was maybe having a bad dream. Once I was able to wake completely, I shot straight up and took this long deep breath like I had just came up from being held under water. That time was nothing compared to some of the worst experiences I have had. These dreams, or whatever you choose to call them....they feel so very real. To the point that sometimes you hear and actual visualize things that are not really there. It's nightmarish....idk how else to put it into words. But, why would one want to induce that?!

I'm not sure if what I experienced yesterday was the vibrational stage thing so help me out pls.
Last night i smoked a joint and right after I sat (legs crossed and stuff, like a monk?) to meditate while listening to a binaural beat track for OBE.
So, what i felt was an increasing heart beat sensation that got really intense. I was able to endure this sensation, though i wasn't able to "separate" from my body (at least not completely i think). Also, on the peak of this sensation i tried to imagine myself floating forward and like being the whole room, and for a moment i kinda percieved my body in front of me as if i was upside down (me in front of me).
My question is, Am I getting close to astral project? Was this sensation the vibrational stage?
Note: i had some weed thinking of it as an enhancement for my meditation (that was my intention), which i think almost turned into an OBE.
Also, what i felt didn't felt like being TOO high.
    Best regards bois

It was an interesting thing for me since I didn't try, I was like "hey let's meditate while lying down in my bed since I feel tired, kill two birds with one stone" I kept doing my breathing technique while relaxing more and more and suddenly while still being aware of everything I feel like my breath keeps getting lighter and lighter and it's suffocating so I open my eyes from my meditation. I can't move my arms, legs or even lips, and I hear a ringing sound in my ears that got louder and louder after I opened my eyes, to the point that it felt like it was drilling in my ear. After the ringing got less intense but still annoying a pattern appeared before my eyes (between me and the ceiling since I didn't move my neck yet) and I couldn't even shout to call my parents to move me. When I tried to shout it was like in a scary movie where the guy holds a hand over your mouth, I could get some sound out but because my mouth, teeth, tongue weren't moving, it was very muffled to the point that I think I would be the only one hearing it even if someone was next to me, due to bone vibration.

Or is it impossible and I'm just being stupid or thinking way too far into it?
And if it was possible to talk to it how would it respond?
Would it be the expected classic sPoOkY way or normally?
And if it communicated back normally would you be able to have some company?
Would it be bad or good company?
Yet again am I looking way too far into it or being just stupid in general?
I will test this and if you tested any of this could you comment back and tell me how it went

I try and try but i just can't induce it. For astral projection.

What if I can't lucid dream? I don't have nightmares anymore. I used to get nightmares every night but now I don't even dream. I like nightmares and if I'm not having them anymore then idk maybe sleep paralysis could help give me nightmares again

I have been very curious for a long time and would like to share my story with sleep paralysis or at least what i assume had been sleep paralysis. As of these late years i havent been able to induce any form of sleep paralysis easily but im my early teens i had a period of about 2 years where i got to the point of being able to induce sleep paralysis practically at will. It was like i mastered it. The specific feeling was almost like i sudden wave or portal opening and my body and all my perceptions would get heavy and muffled as i felt the pull of it but i was stuck in place. And of course i could not move at all either, or rather moving made me feel like a snail. Now the kicker is that i would either do two things during this state as i learned how to completely control it; either induce a nightmarish scenario or a lewd and erotic scenario. Usually if it was a nightmare scenario i would stay awake and start percieving imaginary things in my surroundings, but if it was the latter i could go straight into dreaming while still feeling this heavy portal sensation as i went through the lewd scenario. A lot to talk on this topic for me but what do you guys think of this? Since this was years ago and for different reasons i no longer have even a slight ability to induce these states.

Honestly I'm not crazy or anyting but when I first have sleep paralysis I panicked like crazy and then to lock up the second time I knew what was happening so wasn't that bad third time I actually liked it because I saw nothing in my room and I almost turned into a lucid dream so therefore I want to induce it more

Its quite easy, well for my 1st time. You have to focus and have the ability to let your body relax into a different state. You'll feel it, and then as you relax more you focus on keeping your mind awake but your body asleep. If you really try it works.

Are the hallucinations really that bad? Are they really that scary? I want to lucid dream and it looks like sleep paralysis is the easiest way to lucid dream so I want to do it.

Im scared, every night almost, I wake up but don't move because I don't think much of it but then my body starts tensing up and I can't move, I freak out and move my feet until I'm free, after that I struggled. To go back to sleep because I start tensing up again into sleep paralysis but I want to lucid dream. It's because I'm scared that I will hear stuff

  • @gamenicity5905

This is a phenomenon that happens when you wake up after several hours of sleep. You tent to be extremely tired and have a hard time fighting off sleep. You will usually hear a whooshing or buzzing sound in your ears and may feel a tingling sensation. You will also feel as though you have a pressure on you and may see entities in your room. These are harmless and only in your minds eye.
I have had this happen to me my entire life and I'm in my mid 40's. I have never been able to induce it through willing it to happen, hence why I stated it as a phenomenon earlier. It is something that happens to you or it doesn't. You can try to recreate it by waking up after several hours of sleep. It usualy happens to me after 4 to 6 hours of sleep. And never have I been able to force it. 40+ years of experience. If its going to happen it will otherwise it won't.

    • @KawaiiGrape101
      @KawaiiGrape101 Před 3 lety +2

You mean for YOU it can't be forced. It can definitely be induced, speaking from experience, and frankly, it isnt that hard.

You know what I've had it 3 times... and I had the same.. my experience was weird.. I stuck a 25 mg nicotine patch on my arm before I went to bed and my dreams were crazy but not scary lol but I also believe I has sleep paralysis.. I woke up and opened my eyes but didn't move.. I was consciously moving my arms which it felt just like I was.. but I looked down and my arms were still on my chest! It felt so real! I also her a dog in my room and someone I know come in.. heard everything while I was awake but not moving.. it was amazingly weird hahaha
