  • Absolute Juliations are: sqrt(z) to z. Mercators are: log(z) to z.
Used Ultra Fractal to synchronize zooms side by side!
Absolute Julias are attractive for the same reasons Mercator maps are! Because of the distorted Mandelbrot set, and all of the convergence minibrots. Anything in between can be almost exacted by halfway point in Mandelbrot Zoom (since it is z^2, each iteration to last minibrot doubles the rotation) and convergence format (is when one zooms in close to the minibrot, where the rotational is high, and limit as rotational approaches infinity is a Mercator when zoomed into), respectively. The distorted Brots are the featured pictures.
First one to realize absolute Julia formula and fifth one to realize Mercator formula!
