I'm just going to say that i feel that Bear heart Barbarian is probably a wiser choice as taking only half damage from almost everything will likely help more than and extra 4m of move speed.
Perfectly viable and to be honest, I could be swayed either way, so I wouldn’t argue against this.
Thank you so much for watching!
Well done guide. I hope your channel takes off and you can get things like better mics etc, it would make your videos *chefs kiss*
A better mic is exactly what I’m putting all my revenue here from towards haha
Thank you for the kind words! It means a lot!
Such a creative build! Big ups, dude.
Thanks dude
Should definitely take the tavern brawler feat as it works with your wildshape form and you'll get the strength modifier of the animal you're shaped into
Sadly this guide was made before they patched that in, now I have to redo the guide 😂
@NewDengs I'd be really interested in seeing what you do with an updated version on the build as I've been wanting to try a build like this for awhile and I feel like it could be a fun and really effective build
I’m working on this week so should be coming soon, it’s a really fun build to play as
Really fun video - think I'm going to try this out on my next playthrough! I know you mentioned in another comment that you didn't want to worry about minmaxing with gear, but just curious about your opinion about what type of gear I would be looking for? Specific items not required, but just wondering if I'm looking for gear that would give me bonuses to my wildshapes when I can find it, or is it just about getting saving throw benefits before I wildshape?
Hey thanks for watching! I would probably go for things that boost your strength and con possibly saving you from using your feats as ASI's. That way you'll have buffs whether your in wildshape or not and then have the option of taking a different feat etc
Good shout! Thanks again @@NewDengs
My pleasure!@@james90902
Great guide! 😊
Thank you!
Wild Heart is for sure the wisest choice, but Wild Magic is far the most funny one lol. Been a enraged beast, tanking and throwing spells is AWESOME
Couldn't agree more, I actually did a wild magic build guide last night ;)
What are your thoughts on going 5 on barbarian and 7 druid in order to have 3 attacks in wildshape? I'm not sure if its worth it since you lose a feat so you'd miss out on an asi
If you can find equipment that will boost the stats that you would have used for an ASI, then absolutely go for that extra attack
Do you think its worth dropping the elemental druid forms for the 2 extra levels of barbarian? I can't decide which path I should focus on. Going to be running this build with my mates in Tactician.
It’s very viable, I prefer this way, but honestly I don’t think it would matter if you don’t mind your spells not being as powerful, it might hinder a few wild shapes too but should be ok
Good thing is. You could test both out by respecing with Withers and seeing what you prefer
I am thinking of dipping one level of barb. Or maybe a war cleric? Not sure. But more on Moon druid seems like a waste
It really depends on how you want to play it, if you want to follow the path you stated, I would go more barb than a few levels of cleric personally@@dzikdziki2983
@@NewDengs War cleric i heard gives you extra attack on level one that works in beast form. At least i heard.
@@dzikdziki2983 I haven’t tried this myself, but theoretically it should work
I heard that with the new patch that tavern brawler stacks in wild shape.
Ohh really? That could be a game changer
I know this is an old video so I’m keeping my fingers crossed you’ll see this. Is it important to start out as Druid? Or can you start as Barbarian first? Just curious. I guess what I mean is, is it viable to go more melee focused. Like if your wild shape dies then you can run in melee style with a 2 handed weapon? Maybe put 3 or 4 levels into barbarian starting out and then focus on Druid abilities more?
The Druid spells are very helpful so it’s not like I wanna drop them. I’m also playing Durge so I was thinking of how to make my character an unkillable monster. I start of by hitting them with spells and summons, then rage and wildshape. Go wild till wild shape dies then go melee till I’m on deaths door and then transform into the slayer for my 3rd and final act. Idk if that’s possible, just say dreaming over here lol
Hey! Thanks for watching! It’s totally viable! I’d switch the guide personally and do wildheart subclass, and do the bear heart speciality!
@@NewDengs perfect thank you so much!
No worries at all! Thanks so much for watching and commenting and I hope the build works out for you!
Any plans on updating this build? With the change to TB and extra attack at level 10, etc..
I was thinking of making another one honestly
@@NewDengs Does it really require another guide? Can tavern brawler not just be slotted into this build, maybe taking it instead of the ability improvement?
Considering this was made before tavern brawler was patched to work, yes it did require an updated video@@rollcaskett1812
@@NewDengs Sorry, didn't mean to sound like a smart-a** if it came off that way. I found your other video, thanks for the build.
@@rollcaskett1812 it’s all good! No need to apologise! I’m glad the guide was some sort of help to you!
Item recommendations please
Hey! So I would personally get any items that give you +'s to your strength, Dex or Con instead of items with spells or buffs to help you max out those stats, this might even allow you to use a feat instead of a ASI and take something like Tavern Brawler which I've been told now stacks onto WildShape, but I haven't tried this to find out
I prefer Bearzerker. 😁
A lot of people do, honestly any other day I probably would too haha
Didn't realize the console version would look so different, it's kind of jarring. Anyway, is there a reason for level 9 druid over level 4 barbarian for another feat? What does level 9 get you?
PS5 dude, my PC didn't have the storage space so I had to wait an extra month to play
it looks exactly the same and I play on PC with a 4080 lmfao
@@Shorkshire I meant the UI.
@NaveSutlef Yeah, the UI is very different. I was playing on GeForce Now on my series x before the PS5 version landed, and it was an adjustment. I'm happy playing it on there now but at first I was like "Nah, I'm good." 😋
It's very easy to lose where your items or scrolls are on the console UI, jealous of the console UI at times@@Sammael757
Saber tooth wildshape is so op
I totally agree
I’m dripping
😂
Does the race matter
In my opinion no, I try to make builds that don't rely on a certain race to make them work
Where's item break down.?
No item breakdown, wanted to make a simple guide for casual people to follow without having to worry about combining all the best items for min maxing
Only downside to this is that you actually don’t want to Multiclass a Circle of the Moon Druid at all. While unarmored Defense adds to your Wildshape the other Abilities from Berserker are wasted. Plus the Stats of your Wildshapes scale with your Lvl in Druid so as you progress in Druid you get better.
Multiclassing a Circle of the Moon Druid for Skills and Passives that don’t apply half of the Time anyway ?!? Not really worth it
Depends how your playing, if you just want to utilise Barbarian skills, you might as well fully go Barbarian or multi class with fighter. The point of this is to show options you can do for fun or ‘coolness’ as opposed to what’s ‘optimal’
Imagine being mad a guide is fun instead of powerful. Lame
Let's all be nice, everyone has there own opinions and preferences, and his is very reasonable
@@DanHarden-hz8cf i'm not mad just said Multiclassing a Circle of Moon Druid is often not worth at all cause its focused on Wild Shape and most skills from other classes can't be uses in Wildshape plus as well as Beastmaster Circle of Moon Druids gets better the Higher Lvl he has so you usually either want to spend just a few or no Lvls at all in other Classes. But yes ofc it depends on your personal playstyle
I totally get it dude, and fully understand your points, I made this guide purely from the standpoint that it's cool and let's your spread yourself. So all your points make sense
