Southeast Asians Represents! Day 1 of MAPPING PERFORMANCE

In 2023, Metro Art is celebrating 10 years of 𝘔𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘈𝘳𝘵 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴. 𝘔𝘈𝘗𝘗𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘗𝘌𝘙𝘍𝘖𝘙𝘔𝘈𝘕𝘊𝘌 was a two-day celebration at Union Station Los Angeles that kicked off the 10 year anniversary festivities.
Taking place on Saturday, June 24, 2023, 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘈𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵! was a day-long music and dance celebration that highlighted Southeast Asian traditions and diasporic artists who bring their cultural backgrounds into contemporary practices.
The day started off with performances in the North Patio by Nkauj Hmoob Dance Team, Sookjai Ensemble, Ho Chan’s Pin Peat Ensemble, and Bo Razón, followed by performances in the Ticket Concourse by Gingee, Demonslayer and Dengue Fever, with visuals by Sick Delicious.
