15 DAYS OF OWNERSHIP - BRIEF REVIEW:
• Retail price is Rs 291000 but 10% introductory discount. Electronic vehicles are still overpriced, isn’t it?
• Need to pay extra for vehicle transfer fee + 3rd party insurance = Rs 3400
• Bluebook took 2 weeks to arrive till then they give a ‘chalani’ document if needed
• Missing that big tires and throttle punch of Aprilia scooter gave ☹ though it drinks petrol like a horse!
• Couldn’t wait longer so decided to buy this scooter. But if you can, please wait for launching of like OLA, Ather or simple one scooters in Nepal - they are the game changers.
Pros
• Very elegant, stylish and cute looking (people turn heads and many have asked where did you buy?)
• No fuel hike tension...yeah baby!
• Smooth riding in pitch roads and no vibrations
• Soundless riding is so cool
• Screen display is gorgeous showing vital signs, especially at night time
• Dual disk brakes - electrical + mechanical is precise, every time pulling regenerative brakes shows green LED light, means you are recharging!
• Front and rear suspensions are not bad
• Front LED headlight is super awesome - like car headlights
• Seat is comfortable and good for single rider, may be congested for pillion
• Speed mode 1, 2 or 3 can be adjusted according to need for speed
• Under seat space is just WOW! 22 litres - fits full helmet + some accessories. Personally, it was a major tempting factor to me
• Smart stand, enough leg room space and back footrest for pillion are good
• Keyless on/off and double tap to open ‘diki’ are so handy and awesome features. Have not had to insert key so far!
Cons
• Cringey feeling at first ride on the road. Being not used to accelerator and braking, got stuck in the middle of traffic for a while! Give at least a weeks’ time to get used to its system
• Segway-Ninebot App not registering for Nepal. No use of Bluetooth functions (they say have to wait few more months). Can’t change time on the dashboard and other functions due to not having official app
• No product manuals and guides, not even electronic or online versions
• Only single service centre in Nepal, need more
• Lightweight and small tiers causing instability at higher speeds
• Off-road riding is pain in ash
• If you have to stop in uphill traffic jam, it becomes tricky to move on again
• Battery - which is the machine’s heart, not so powerful ☹. Although there is an option for another battery slot available, another battery can be added anytime but costs around 80K at present time. Price may come down next year they said.
• Range is not enough. I usually travel around 20 - 25 km per day and have been charging 2 to 3 times a week and seems tedious job. Battery capacity after 27% starts to blink as reminder to recharge. Company representative says it can still run 4-5 kms more even if the battery is 0%! So before planning a long ride, please think twice.
So far so good. A satisfied customer 😊 If I have to rate, would like to give 3 out of 5! Thanks for reading

@@sherlockholmes8724 after riding everyday since for > 4 months, actual range is 60-70 kms in a single charge in mode 2, may be more in mode 1 but mode 3 drains battery faster
The cost of this scooter in US is US$ 985 may be due to transportation cost and high custom etc. the cost is almost US$2300 in Nepal.
Please explain the battery cooling system as well, which was main reason for electric scooter fire cases in India. Hope you inquire with supplies and explain in next videos.

I think price is very high, it's price is around 136000 Npr in international market by adding custom 10% + 13% Vat and importer profit 20%. Now it's price is almost 205000.
But it's price in Nepal is 2 Lakh 91 thousand.
I am not aware about the shipping charge.
I don't think shipping charge will cost around 85 thousands Npr.

Don't go for ola. They have issues with battery. Many instances of Scooter catching fire have come up in india and few people have lost their lives also
