Great dedication because this is a lot of work. I make cupcakes with fillings in them and its super easy and quick. Also, how would you do multiple tastings like this in a row? I sometimes have 4-7 tastings back to back.

Thank you Arianne, so glad it's helpful! Yes I do charge for tastings, payable in advance to book the tasting and refundable only with at least 3 day notice. I found it cuts out then no-shows. You can choose to apply the fee to their order if they book you, I used to do that.

This is so incredibly helpful! May I ask where you got your contract for wedding cake orders? I haven’t felt the need to have a contract yes but as I find myself with higher priced orders I feel there is a need to have something in writing. Thanks!
Hi Aleida, I modified a basic contract I found online. I have tweaked it over the years as needed. I would suggest googling wedding cake contract and finding one that suits you, then adding anything that is pertinent to your business.

I usually only make what I will use in about 3 months

Up to 3 months is the longest I have frozen them for. I know people do it for longer but I always use mine up in about 2 months. You can always do a 6 inch square cake if you won't use that many servings by 3 months.
